摘要： The present invention relates to a method for preparing a functional film via coffee oil, comprising (a) extracting a coffee oil from coffee; (b) modifying the coffee oil to obtain an epoxidized coffee oil; (c) adding an alcohol into the epoxidized coffee oil to obtain a coffee polyol; (d) synthesizing a polyurethane dispersive solution with the coffee polyol; (e) coating a surface of a substrate with the polyurethane dispersive solution; and (f) drying and fixing the surface of the substrate. The present invention further provides a functional textile comprising a functional film prepared by the method of above.

摘要： Textiles backed with a polyurethane cushion are produced by applying a layer of frothed polyurethane-forming mixture to a surface of the textile. The mixture contains both water and a physical blowing agent. The layer expands due to the action of the water and the physical blowing agent and cures to form an attached cushion having a density of 176 g/L or less.

摘要： Described herein are methods of preparing PUD based, poromeric, synthetic leathers having improved embossing characteristics, the methods comprising: preparing a polyurethane prepolymer, wherein the prepolymer comprises at least one isocyanate resin, and at least two polyols; preparing a first mixture comprising the polyurethane prepolymer, water, a chain extender, and a first surfactant that comprises at least one surfactant; preparing a second mixture comprising the first mixture, a thickening agent, and a second surfactant the comprises at least one surfactant, frothing the second mixture and thereby forming a frothed second mixture; applying the frothed second mixture to a fabric and thereby forming a coated fabric; optionally adjusting the thickness of the frothed third mixture on the fabric; and drying the coated fabric.

摘要： At least certain embodiments of the present invention relate to polyurethane backed non-flooring products, methods of making non-flooring products, and polyurethane compositions for forming a layer of polyurethane on a non-flooring textile, fabric or material. The compositions comprise the reaction product of castor oil having a water content of less than or equal to about 0.2% by weight; a monol, and an isocyanate, wherein the reactants have a soft segment functionality of about 2.0 to about 2.64. Methods of using the compositions and products including the compositions are also disclosed. At least selected embodiments may provide compositions for use in non-flooring surface coverings such as wall coverings, furniture coverings, clothing, tenting, or the like having a show surface such as a textile or fabric face material in contacting overlying relation to a polyurethane backing with or without additional structures, layers, backings, and/or the like, as well as apparatus, processes, and/or methods for making such non-flooring surface coverings, uses for such non-flooring surface coverings, and/or the like.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a high density artificial leather, may include (a) manufacturing a long fiber-type non-woven fabric having an areal weight of 400 to 500 g/m2 and an apparent density of 0.3 to 0.6 g/cm3 by self-twist spinning a sea component polymer fiber and an island component polymer fiber; (b) shrinking the long fiber-type non-woven fabric with hot water; (c) eluting the sea component polymer fiber from the shrunken non-woven fabric by immersing the shrunken non-woven fabric in an aqueous alkaline solution; and (d) impregnating a polymer elastomer in a non-woven fabric from which the sea component polymer fiber is eluted, to manufacture a long fiber-type fine yarn non-woven fabric.
