摘要： This disclosure provides connectors for smart windows. A smart window may incorporate an optically switchable pane. In one aspect, a window unit includes an insulated glass unit including an optically switchable pane. A wire assembly may be attached to the edge of the insulated glass unit and may include wires in electrical communication with electrodes of the optically switchable pane. A floating connector may be attached to a distal end of the wire assembly. The floating connector may include a flange and a nose, with two holes in the flange for affixing the floating connector to a first frame. The nose may include a terminal face that present two exposed contacts of opposite polarity.

摘要： A heated roller shade system is provided. The heated roller shade system includes a roller located in a cavity defined between an inner wall of a vehicle and an outer wall of the vehicle. The roller shade system also includes a shade coupled to the roller. The roller is configured to selectively move the shade between a deployed position and an open position. The roller shade system also includes a heating mechanism coupled to at least one of the roller and the shade. The heating mechanism facilitates increasing a temperature of at least one of the roller and the shade.

摘要： A system for reducing the effect of a force includes a panel having a first side and a second side; a plurality of contact members disposed around a perimeter of the panel first side; and a biasing member positioned around a perimeter of the panel second side. The perimeter of the panel second side generally corresponds to the perimeter of the panel first side. The biasing member biases the contact members toward the panel first side. In a use configuration, a force received by the panel second side is at least partially transferred to the contact members causing at least one of the contact members to temporarily lose contact with the panel first side, whereby the return of the contact member into contact with the panel first side imparts a second force onto the panel first side, the second force being less than the force transferred to the contact members.

摘要： The embodiments herein provide a decorative custom window treatment accessory that allows a user to slip a drapery onto the window treatment easily and quickly. The accessory comprises an ornamental scroll for decorating a window and a wire with a plurality of bumps to securely hold a drapery. The wire comprises two washers located at both ends. Several studs are provided on the wire to hold the wire onto the scroll having two mounting brackets and two holes. Each bracket is located on either end of the scroll to affix the scroll to a wall. The first hole is configured for holding an extension arm and the mounting bracket, while the second hole is threaded for grasping the stud that holds the wire. A nut is placed on the stud to keep the washer of the wire to avoid a disconnection of the wire from the scroll.
