摘要： A method for checking a measurement of pressure in a fuel tank, implemented in a vehicle having a fuel tank and a fuel vapor breather circuit including: a filter, a tank isolation valve interposed between the tank and the filter, and a purge line, connected to the filter, downstream thereof, a pressure sensor, and a purge valve. The method includes, when the purge valve is closed: measuring a value of the pressure in the tank when the isolation valve is closed, then measuring a temporal extreme value for the pressure in the purge line following an opening of the isolation valve, and determining, from the measured values, that there is an anomaly in the measured pressure in the tank.

摘要： A single control for manipulating a fuel valve, a choke condition, and an ignition system condition of an engine of a portable engine powered device that simplifies starting, stopping, and operation of the engine associated with use of the device. The control includes a dial that can be rotated to positions between a first radial position and a second radial position. When the dial is in the first radial position, the fuel valve is maintained in a closed position and the ignition system is grounded such that the engine is rendered inoperable. Rotation of the dial away from the first radial position completes the ignition circuit, opens the fuel valve, and initiates a choke position suitable for subsequent starting and self-sustained operation of the engine. The dial is also axially displaceable to activate an electronic starter for engines so equipped.

摘要： A fuel supply device (1) has a valve (13) in a fuel passage between a fuel pump (3) and an engine (5). In a storage portion of an ECU (18-21) is stored a relationship between a fuel pressure and a flow rate, which are required by the engine, and voltage which is supplied to a motor (7). The ECU senses voltages V26, V27, V28 supplied to the motor from a controller (22) when the valve is opened from change points C1′, C2′, C3′ at which a characteristic between the voltage and the current which are supplied to the motor (7) is changed. Then, the ECU corrects the voltage stored in the storage portion on the basis of differences between voltages V1, V2, V5 stored in the storage portion at the change points C1, C2, C3 and the voltages V26, V27, V28 when the valve is opened. In this way, the fuel supply device can correctly control the motor in correspondence to the fuel pressure and the flow rate which are required by the engine.

摘要： A filtration monitoring system is an electronic system control module installed on an internal combustion engine or within a vehicle powered by the internal combustion engine. The filtration monitoring system monitors the health and status of the filtration systems present on the engine. The filtration monitoring system tracks filter loading patterns and predicts remaining service life of the filters by running smart algorithms based on sensor feedback (e.g., pressure sensor feedback, fluid quality characteristic sensor feedback, etc.). In some arrangements, the described filtration monitoring systems provide feedback as to whether a genuine (i.e., authorized, OEM approved, etc.) or unauthorized filter cartridge is installed in a given filtration system. The filtration monitoring system may be retrofit into an existing internal combustion engine or vehicle that does not already have a filtration monitoring system.
