摘要： A valve member having a supply pressure and a method of controlling the supply pressure in the valve member includes a valve body having a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a controlled port. The valve member includes a spool moveable within the valve body to fluidly connect at least one of the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet with the controlled port. The spool includes an end in fluid communication with a control pressure port and a pin received within the end of the spool that is moveable relative to the spool. Fluid flow through the control pressure port acts against a cross-sectional area of the pin and an annular area of the spool to modulate the supply pressure through the valve member.

摘要： A solenoid operated valve includes a valve block defining a valve lumen, a poppet slidably disposed within the valve lumen, a solenoid including a core defining a core lumen aligned with the valve lumen, and an armature assembly. The armature assembly includes an armature disc, an armature guide having a hollow cylindrical body defining an armature guide passage, and an armature stud disposed within the armature guide passage. The armature stud is in communication with the poppet so that axial movement of one is translated into axial movement of the other. The valve further includes a coil cover enclosing the solenoid, and a guard disposed to prevent contact between the armature assembly and an adjacent component of the valve. A method of assembling a solenoid operated valve includes placing a shim between the armature disc and the core, and pressurizing and energizing the valve.

摘要： A control valve (10) includes a valve body with a plurality of ports (A, B, C, D, E, F) and a plurality of annular flow passages (53, 55, 57). A piston (34) which includes a plurality of annular flow passages and a longitudinal flow passage is selectively movable within a bore (32) within the valve body through operation of a valve controller (70). The valve controller is selectively operative to control the position of the piston so as to enable liquid flow through a plurality of flow paths. The valve controller further includes a installable and removable valve controller housing (74) which is releasibly engageable with a valve base (72). The valve may include a changeable piston and changeable injector and plug components to adapt the valve to different flow and fluid mixing requirements.

摘要： A three part valve is provided. The valve has a housing having three axially spaced inlet ports and an outlet port. A rotary valve assembly with a modular rotor is provided for controlling fluid communication between the inlet ports and the outlet port. The rotary valve assembly includes a shaft. Additionally there is provided a first generally cylindrical valve module torsionally affixed with the shaft for controlling fluid communication between a first inlet port and the outlet port. The rotary valve assembly also includes a second generally cylindrical valve assembly rotatably mounted on the shaft controlling fluid communication between a second inlet port and the outlet port. The second valve module has a coupling interface with the first valve module. A third generally cylindrical valve module is also provided rotatably mounted on the shaft. The third cylindrical valve module controls fluid communication between a third inlet port and the outlet port. The third valve module has a coupling interface with the second valve module.

摘要： A heat exchanger apparatus having a first fluid channel, a second fluid channel, a bypass channel, and inlet and outlet manifolds. A thermal bypass valve assembly is positioned within the inlet manifold, and contains an outer sleeve having a first, second and third apertures axially displaced. An inner sleeve positioned within the outer sleeve and moveable from a first to a second position upon actuation of a first actuator. The inner sleeve has a first orifice on a wall of the inner sleeve and a second orifice defined by the inner sleeve second end. The first orifice aligns with the first aperture in the first position and the second aperture in the in the second position. A second actuator coupled to a stopper that engagingly disengages from the second orifice upon actuation of the second actuator.
