    • A solenoid valve for a fuel cell system is provided that includes a valve housing and a valve body disposed within the valve housing having an inflow passage through which hydrogen flows in, a discharge passage through which hydrogen is discharged, and a valve passage connecting the inflow passage and the discharge passage. A solenoid is disposed within the valve housing and a plunger is supported within the solenoid by a valve spring. and the plunger is movable upward and downward while corresponding to the direction of the valve passage. A pressure balance unit is disposed extraneous to the plunger to press the plunger with force corresponding to excessive pressure greater than a determined inflow hydrogen pressure applied through a branch passage that branches off from the inflow passage.

    • A two-stage, variable force, solenoid control valve (10) for regulating fluid pressure can include a valve body (12) having a pilot fluid passage (14), including a metering land (16), in fluid communication with a flow amplifying fluid passage (18) through a valve control port (20) formed in the valve body (12). A solenoid operated pilot valve member (22), disposed in the pilot fluid passage (14), can have a metering orifice (24) operable in combination with the metering land (16) for selectively connecting the valve control port (20) with a pressurized fluid supply port (26) and a return exhaust port (28) in response to activation of a solenoid (34). A flow amplifying spool valve member (30), in fluid communication with the valve control port (20) of the pilot valve member (22) at one end (30a), can selectively connect a load control port (32) with the pressurized fluid supply port (26) and the return exhaust port (28) in response to pilot valve member (22) operation.

    • The invention relates to a relief valve comprising a first valve body for opening and closing a fluid passageway between a first valve connection and a second valve connection, a second valve body which is disposed on the first valve body and is used for opening and closing a valve passageway located between the first valve connection and a valve interior, a one throttle duct between the valve interior and a face of the first valve body, a spring for opening the second valve body, and an actuator for closing the second valve body. This relief valve further comprising a movable member that can be moved further in the same direction once the second valve body has been closed, thus allowing the first valve body to be opened by having the second valve body engage a valve seat located on the first valve body, and a stop element connected to the second valve body and/or the movable member engages the first valve body via the spring to close the first valve body.
