    • A gas meter device of the present invention includes an inlet into which a fluid flows, and an outlet from which the fluid flows out, and is configured to derive a flow value of the fluid flowing from the inlet to the outlet. The gas meter device comprises plural measurement fluid passages provided in parallel between the inlet and the outlet; flow value measuring units provided in the plural measurement fluid passages, respectively, and configured to independently measure flow values of fluids flowing through the measurement fluid passages, respectively; an average flow value calculation unit configured to derive an average flow value of the flow values measured by the flow value measuring units, respectively; and a flow value comparison unit configured to obtain index values indicating a relation between the average flow value derived by the average flow value calculation unit and the flow values measured by the flow value measuring units, and determine whether or not each of the index values is equal to or larger than a predetermined value. Thereby, the present invention can determine whether or not there is an erroneous measurement flow value from only the separate flow values independently measured in the measurement fluid passages, respectively.

    • A gas meter apparatus of the present invention comprises a flow measuring device which measures a gas flow; a measurement value calculating section and a liquid crystal display section which are configured to calculate an integrated value of the measured gas flow and electrically display the integrated value. Every time the measurement value calculating section determines that the integrated value has reached 1 liter, it informs a light emission commanding section of determination result. In response to this information, the light emission commanding section causes a LED light emitting section to emit light toward a sensor. Therefore, the gas meter apparatus is able to conduct a test by a test method in which a change in the displayed integrated value of the gas flow can be known from reflected light of emitted light, even when the integrated value of the gas flow is displayed in a digital form.

    • A three-chamber gas meter having a two-chamber cartridge inserted into a casing, the interior of which forms the third chamber. The meter is of compact design and readily mass produced. The cartridge carries a valve plate which communicates to each of the chambers and also to the inlet and the outlet. A rotary valve connected to the valve plate will sequentially and selectively connect the chambers between the inlet and the outlet to measure the gas flow through the meter. A flag and crank assembly is operatively associated with the cartridge to connect the rotary valve and the diaphragms, which expand and contract to actuate the internally connected flag and crank assembly, thus to rotate the rotary valve. A pair of flag rods are journaled in the cartridge and included in the flag and crank assembly.
