摘要： An apparatus and a corresponding system for reading out X-ray information stored in a storage phosphor plate includes a reading device for irradiating the storage phosphor plate with stimulation light and for detecting emitted light excited thereby in the storage phosphor plate, and a transport device for transporting the storage phosphor plate relative to the reading device and having a roller drive and at least one roller that can be set rotating about the axis of rotation thereof by the roller drive. In order to simplify the design of the apparatus and of the system while providing as reliable a transport of the storage phosphor plate as possible, the roller includes at least one magnetic area that has a helical progression.

摘要： A positioning device for holding a dental x-ray imaging media during the taking of a dental x-ray includes an aiming ring, a bite block and a positioning arm extending therebetween. The bite block carries a journal or barrel for receiving a portion of the positioning arm therein such that the portion of the positioning arm thus received can rotate or move therein, such that the position between the bite block and the aiming ring can be selected in one of a plurality of positions corresponding to a position for taking one of a plurality of dental x-ray images. In another embodiment, the bite block carries a window through which a color-coded or other indicia portion of the positioning arm is positioned such that the user can view the indicia to determine the x-ray image for which the device is set.

摘要： The present invention relates to an X-ray imaging apparatus comprising an X-ray source unit generating an X-ray, an X-ray detecting sensor unit having a sensor panel equipped with multiple sensors detecting the X-ray which is generated from the X-ray source unit and passed through an object, and a panel-moving means mounted on the X-ray detecting sensor unit and moving the sensor panel. Thus, employing and butting multiple small X-ray sensors instead of expensive large sensors advantageously reduces the manufacturing cost for the X-ray imaging apparatus, and enables the imaging of the same wide area as with the use of the large sensors.

摘要： In order to achieve a particularly good image sharpness, in a method and apparatus for radiological imaging of an examination subject, a digital x-ray detector is arranged behind the subject and a scattered-ray grid is positionable between the subject and the x-ray detector. The scattered-ray grid is designed for reduction of the scattered ray proportion of x-rays penetrating the subject. If the thickness of the subject is below a defined thickness, the scattered-ray grid is removed from the beam path.
