摘要： Methods and apparatus provide for: communicating in respective paired relationships between a network interface and one or more controller devices operated by one or more users, respectively, via wired communication or wireless communication selected by the one or more users; and outputting light emission controls to the paired one or more controller devices, wherein the one or more controller devices each include at least one light emitter that responds to the light emission controls by emitting a selected one of a plurality of colors, outputting a first light emission control to a first of the one or more controller devices that first achieves the paired relationship, and wherein the first light emission control operates to cause a particular first color among the plurality of colors to emit, and outputting a second light emission control to a second of the one or more controller devices that next achieves the paired relationship after the first of the one or more controller devices, and wherein the second light emission control operates to cause a particular second color among the plurality of colors to emit.

The storage device has an external appearance representing, three-dimensionally or two-dimensionally, an object that appears in a virtual space generated by execution of a predetermined application program by the information processing device. The storage device stores object information on the object. The information processing device writes, to the storage device, character image information specifying an image of a character created based on an instruction of a user. The information processing device executes a predetermined process using at least one of the object information and the character image information read from the storage device.

A logic device, separate from a master gaming controller on the gaming machine and placed in the gaming machine, may be operable to authenticate a portable device, such as a smart card, and authorize transactions involving transfers of indicia of credit between the portable device and the gaming machine. The logic device may be operable to send authentication information relating to the portable device to a remote host where a value amount of transactions involving the portable device authorized by the logic device may be higher when the logic device and the remote host authenticate the portable device as opposed to when the portable device is only authenticated by the logic device.

摘要： Various methods and systems for securing communications with enhanced media platforms, are provided. In particular, an enhanced media platform is authenticated using a trusted location. The authenticated enhanced media platform establishes a bidirectional trust with an enhanced remote location, the enhanced media platform being stored in the enhanced remote location. Upon authentication and establishing the bidirectional trust, the enhanced media platform may securely communicate media content in a media content distribution service infrastructure while supporting custom functionality. The method for securing communications with enhanced media platforms includes communicating authentication credentials to an internal security component at the trusted location. The method further includes receiving validation credentials from the internal security component. The method also includes authenticating the enhanced remote location based on at least a portion of the validation credentials received. The method further includes establishing the bidirectional trust relationship with the enhanced remote location using the validation credentials.
