摘要： A checkout system according to an embodiment includes a registration apparatus in communication with a plurality of checkout apparatuses. The checkout apparatuses each include a display device, a communication interface, a payment device, and a controller. The display device displays an instruction to provide an input to start a checkout processing. When the input to start the checkout processing is received, the communication interface transmits a checkout processing request to the registration apparatus. The checkout processing request includes identification information for identifying the checkout apparatus. The checkout apparatus receives, from the registration apparatus in response to the checkout processing request, transaction information generated by the registration apparatus. The payment device processes payment in accordance with the received transaction information.

摘要： An accounting device according to an embodiment includes an input device that receives an instruction to start a job. A first display device includes a first screen facing a first direction towards a person who operates the input device. A change machine includes a depositing port for receiving money and a dispensing port for dispensing money. A second display device includes a second screen facing a second direction different from the first direction and towards a person who deposits money into the depositing port or receives money from the dispensing port. When the instruction received by the input device is to start a predetermined job that is different from the accounting transaction and that includes depositing money into the change machine or dispensing money from the change machine, the processor causes information supporting execution of the predetermined job to be displayed on the second screen.

摘要： An apparatus for dispensing a product, including a housing having a storage rack for holding a first dispensable product; a weight movably positioned within the rack and configured to exert a downward force on the first dispensable product; a magnet affixed to the weight; a sensor plate having a sensor affixed thereto; a coin assembly having a first coin slot configured to receive a coin; and a pushbutton configured to cause the coin assembly to move from a first position to a second position; wherein the magnet is configured to substantially align with the sensor once the first dispensable product has been completely dispensed from the housing, the magnet and sensor being configured to activate an indicator light on the outside of the housing; and wherein the housing is configured to dispense the first dispensable product when the coin assembly is within the second position.

摘要： A vending machine that dispense feminine hygiene products. Specifically, this invention is a coin-operated vending machine that dispenses sanitary napkins and tampons. This invention allows a user to purchase a feminine hygiene product by placing a coin or multiple coins in a slot within the vending machine and pressing a product release button. The product is then dispensed to the consumer. The apparatus also provides a mechanism for retrieving a coin in the event that the vending machine is out of a specific feminine hygiene.

The farebox can be configured such that the collected fares can be emptied only when the farebox is removed from the temporary installation to reduce tampering and theft. A fare validator can be used to verify the amount and value of a fare deposited in the farebox to eliminate human validation of fares. Electronic monitors can collect data relating to fares deposited, total revenue collected, time of fare collection, and other data items that can be retrieved when the farebox is removed and emptied.

A seller receives a payment from a buyer that does not match the seller's invoice and consequently requires an adjustment. An adjustment document creator receives the payment data from the buyer and retrieves buyer-specific order data from said seller to construct an adjustment document. A variety of adjustment documents may be created depending upon the actual adjustment required. The adjustment document may then be automatically routed to a set of one or more buyer-specific human reviewers for approval of the adjustment. The automated payment and adjustment processing system is preferably integrated with the seller's financial institution.
