摘要： A data transmission cable includes a first wire and a second wire adjacent to each other, each of the first wire and the second wire has a central conductor and a cover layer enclosing the conductor. The conductor has an outer diameter in the range of 28 to 31 AWG, and when the outer diameter of the conductor is 28 AWG, the center distance between the first and second wires is defined between 0.51 mm to 0.75 mm; when the outer diameter of the conductor is 29 AWG, the center distance between the first and second wires is set between 0.38 mm to 0.75 mm; when the outer diameter of the conductor is 30 to 31 AWG, the center distance between the first and second wires is set between 0.38 mm to 0.62 mm.

摘要： A shielded electrical cable includes a conductor set that includes two or more insulated conductors and a ground conductor adjacent to and in the same plane as the insulated conductors. The cable also includes a shielding film disposed around the conductor set, and two non-conductive polymeric layers disposed around the conductor set and the shielding film. The polymeric layers include concentric portions substantially concentric with the ground conductor having a first cross-sectional area and parallel portions where the two non-conductive polymeric layers are substantially parallel to each other. The cable also includes a transition portion providing a gradual transition between the concentric portion and the parallel portion of the two non-conductive polymeric layers. The transition portion has a second cross-sectional area defined as the area between the shielding film and the two non-conductive polymeric layers between first transition points where the two non-conductive polymeric layers deviate from being substantially concentric with the ground conductor and second transition points where the two non-conductive polymeric layers deviate from being substantially parallel. The second cross-sectional area is equal to or smaller than the first cross-sectional area.

摘要： A high speed video cable carries signals according to the High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) or DisplayPort standards, and includes a raw cable and a boost device. The raw cable is exclusively constructed with either Shielded Twisted Pairs (STP) or coaxial lines which carry all signals on either shielded wires or their shields. The high speed signals are carried on the shielded wires to the boost device where any common mode noise induced by the signals on the shields is removed. Some auxiliary signals including power are carried on ungrounded shields.
