摘要： There is provided a compact for a magnet which can produce a magnetic member having high coercive force. The compact for a magnet is produced by compression-molding a rare earth-iron-based alloy powder containing a plurality of particles of a rare earth-iron-based alloy containing a rare earth element and iron, wherein the rare earth-iron-based alloy satisfies configurations (a) to (c) below and has 5% by volume or more and 20% by volume or less of voids formed therein. (a) Having a structure containing 10% by mass or more and 30% by mass or less of Sm, 10% by mass or less of Mn, and the balance consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities. (b) A composition, Sm2MNxFe17-x (x=0.1 or more and 2.5 or less). (c) An average crystal grain diameter of 700 nm or less.

摘要： The present invention makes it possible to increase the residual magnetic flux density and the coercive force of a rare earth magnet; and raise the Curie temperature. In a magnet formed by compressing magnetic particles, the surface of a magnetic particle is covered with a metal fluoride film, the magnetic particle has a crystal structure containing a homo portion formed by bonding adjacent iron atoms and a hetero portion formed by bonding two iron atoms via an atom other than iron, and the distance between the two iron atoms in the hetero portion is different from the distance between the adjacent iron atoms in the homo portion.

摘要： Nanocomposite magnetic materials, methods of manufacturing nanocomposite magnetic materials, and magnetic devices and systems using these nanocomposite magnetic materials are described. A nanocomposite magnetic material can be formed using an electro-infiltration process where nanomaterials (synthesized with tailored size, shape, magnetic properties, and surface chemistries) are infiltrated by electroplated magnetic metals after consolidating the nanomaterials into porous microstructures on planar substrates. The nanomaterials may be considered the inclusion phase, and the magnetic metals may be considered the matrix phase of the multi-phase nanocomposite.

摘要： With the deposited-film forming apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the distance between the tubular barrel and the evaporating section can be varied, unlike the prior art deposited-film forming apparatus and hence, the efficient formation of the deposited film on the surface of each of the work pieces accommodated in the tubular barrel and the inhibition of the softening of the formed film can be achieved simultaneously. Therefore, it is possible to inhibit the damaging of the deposited film formed on the surface of each of the work pieces and the production of projections on the deposited film, and to form a deposited film at a high quality in respect of a corrosion resistance and the like and at low cost.With the deposited-film forming apparatus according to the second embodiment of the present invention, the distance between the accommodating section defined in the tubular barrel and the evaporating section can be varied and hence, this deposited-film forming apparatus also exhibits an effect similar to that in the deposited-film forming apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention.
