    • A direct current switch with a device for arc extinction independent of current direction includes at least two interconnected switch units, each switch unit having at least one current path having an interruption surface and having at least two switch contact elements for forming the interruption surface. An arc extinction device is associated with one or a plurality of current paths of the switch units. Devices for magnetic field generation are included, each generated magnetic field being assigned to different switch units' interruption surface and oriented such that its field lines run transversally to the respective interruption surface. Given a current flow direction, deflection forces of at least two generated magnetic fields act through flow paths contrary to arcs extending longitudinally to respective interruption surface such that an arc is deflected towards the arc extinction device and a further arc is deflected away from the arc extinction device.

    • A switch apparatus includes at least two contact levers, arranged rotatably about a common rotation axis and arranged, at least sectionally, parallel to one another and spaced apart. The contact levers each have two contact lever arms including contact sections for respectively making contact with one fixed mating contact section of a power line element. The two first contact lever arms make contact with a first force transfer element, and the two second contact lever arms make contact with a second force transfer element for applying a spring force. At least one force transfer element has, in touching sections for touching the contact lever arms, a bulge which extends radially outwards, for the uniform transfer of the spring force to the contact lever arms. At least one holding element of the two holding elements may be configured to be movable relative to the power line elements via an articulated bearing.

    • A casing of a circuit breaker for nominal currents above 250 A that enables at least one rigid busbar to be swung in to make contact with at least one switching pole attached in the casing. The casing may include a bottom section that cuboidally includes a rectangular base area and two rectangular side faces connected to the base area and running parallel to one another. Adjacent side faces are connected to one another via at least two stays which are arranged away from the opposing openings, delimited by the side faces, of the cuboidal bottom section, so that a switching pole can be inserted between the stays into the bottom section and so that a rigid busbar can be swung in at one of the two openings in order to make contact with the switching pole, when busbar and bottom section are each premounted, for example in a switching cabinet.
