摘要： A kinetic piezoelectric device is designed with: A) piezoelectric capacitor that has: 1) a substrate; 2) a first dry piezoelectric layer (first dry PL) comprising a piezoelectric material and having first and second opposing surfaces; and 3) a first pair of non-electrically-connected co-planar patterned electrodes that are arranged contiguously with at least one of the first and second opposing surfaces of the first dry PL. At least one of the first pair of non-electrically-connected co-planar patterned electrodes consists essentially of: (a) an electrically-conductive material; and (b) particles having a Young's modulus that is different from the Young's modulus of the (a) electrically-conductive material by at least 10%. The device also has B) signal processing electronics in electrical communication with the piezoelectric capacitor; and C) a means for transmitting all or a portion of an applied force directly to the first dry PL.

At least one of the non-electrically-connected co-planar patterned electrodes has (a) an electrically-conductive material; and (b) particles having a Young's modulus that is different from the Young's modulus of the (a) electrically-conductive material by at least 10%. The piezoelectric capacitor also has B) electrical communication means attached to each of the first pair of non-electrically-connected co-planar patterned electrodes for electrical communication of the composite article with an external circuit.

摘要： A base end of a flexible plate-like structure body (111) having a first attribute is fixed to a pedestal (310) and a leading end thereof is connected to a connector between different attributes (112). Base end of a flexible plate-like structure body (113, 114) having a second attribute is connected to the connector between different attributes (112) and leading end thereof is given as free ends. Weight body (211, 212, 213) is connected to the lower surface of the connector between different attributes (112) and the leading-end lower surface of the plate-like structure body (113, 114) having the second attribute. When vibration energy is applied to the pedestal (310), the weight body (211, 212, 213) undergoes vibration, resulting in deformation of each of the plate-like structure bodies (111, 113, 114). The deformation energy is taken out by a charge generating element (400) such as a piezoelectric element to generate electric power. The plate-like structure body (111) having the first attribute extends in a positive direction of an Y axis, and the plate-like structure body (113, 114) having the second attribute extend in a negative direction of the Y axis. Therefore, a plurality of resonance systems different in resonance frequency exists concurrently along the same axis, thereby widening a frequency band capable of generating electric power.

The first portion includes a charge collecting device having an electrical permittivity different to that of air. The charge collecting device is configured to be exposed to an air flow. 摘要： A bi-stable micro-electrical mechanical system (MEMS) heat harvester is provided. A bi-stable MEMS cantilever located between a hot temperature surface and a cold temperature surface, and is made up of a first MEMS material layer, having a first coefficient of thermal expansion. A second MEMS material layer is in contact with the first MEMS material layer, and has a second coefficient of thermal expansion less than the first coefficient of thermal expansion. A tensioner, made from a material having a tensile stress greater than the stress of the first or second MEMS materials, is connected to the cantilever. The heat harvester also includes a mechanical-to-electrical power converter, which may be a piezoelectric device or an electret device. The bi-stable MEMS cantilever may include a thermal expander having a coefficient of thermal expansion greater than the second coefficient of thermal expansion. The thermal expander is connected to the tensioner.
