    • A coaxial cable-connector assembly includes a coaxial cable and a coaxial connector. The coaxial cable includes a central conductor, an outer conductor, a dielectric layer interposed between the central conductor and the outer conductor, and a jacket overlying the outer conductor. The coaxial connector includes: a central conductor extension configured to mate with a mating connector at one end and mated with the central conductor of the coaxial cable at a second opposite end; an outer conductor extension configured to mate with the mating connector at one end attached via a solder joint to the outer conductor of the coaxial cable at a second opposite end; and a dielectric spacer positioned between and separating the central conductor extension and the outer conductor extension, the dielectric spacer further positioned adjacent the solder joint to inhibit solder flow away from the solder joint.

    • The invention relates to a method for producing a HF coaxial cable that comprises a cable inner conductor and a cable outer conductor, as well as an angular plug connection at at least one of its two cable ends. The method comprises steps of providing a straight HF corrugated cable including a cable outer conductor, preparing the cable end by trimming the HF corrugated cable, connecting a straight plug connector to the prepared cable end; and cold forming a region of the HF corrugated cable by applying a bending force directed transversely to a longitudinal extent of the HF corrugated cable and a tensile force directly longitudinally to the HF corrugated cable to permanently bend the HF corrugated cable to have a bending radius which alters line impedance to be a maximum of 1 ohm.

    • A coaxial connector with a connector body is provided with a connector body bore. An annular coupling groove is provided in the connector body bore open to a cable end of the connector body. A clamp sidewall of the coupling grove is angled inward from a bottom of the coupling groove. A slip ring seated within the coupling body bore is provided with a grip surface. An annular compression body is positioned between the slip ring and a compression surface of the coupling body. The connector body and the coupling body are coupled together via threads. The slip ring is dimensioned for axial advancement of the coupling body along the threads to exert a compression force against the compression body to clamp a leading edge of the outer conductor between the slip ring and the clamp sidewall.
