摘要： The present disclosure provides a self-traction wire coating robot and a wire routing and wire hanging method, wherein the robot includes a mounting plate, a material pushing module, a winding traction module, a coating module, a walking module and a power supply and control module, wherein the coating module and the walking module are rotatable in the extension direction of the non-overhead bare wires, when hanging wires, the coating module and the walking module are first rotated and swung to the side of the robot, an unmanned device is then used to hang a traction belt on the overhead bare wires, the winding traction module tightens the traction belt to hang the robot under the overhead bare wires, and then the coating module and the walking module are controlled to rotate and recover to the top of the robot and hang the robot on the overhead bare wire.

摘要： A valve assembly that includes a valve body, a poppet member, and a biasing member. The valve body has an internal through-channel. The poppet member has an inside portion positioned at least partially inside the through-channel and an outside portion positioned outside the through-channel and extending outwardly beyond the valve body. The poppet member is movable within the through-channel between an open position and a closed position. The biasing member is external to the valve housing and applies a biasing force to the outside portion of the poppet member that biases the poppet member toward the closed position.

A wellbore line can be cleaned and then coated with a repair material before being pulled through a die to shape the coating and then being pulled through setting section to set the repair material. The repair material can be a thermoplastic material that is set by cooling, or a thermoset material that is set by heating. The wellbore line can be repaired upon exiting a wellbore or being unspooled from a reel.

摘要： The invention provides a laminated wrap for repairing an electrical cable, the wrap being adapted to be stretched around the cable with the longitudinal sides of the wrap overlapping one another. The outer layer of the wrap is of a wear and fire resistant flexible material such as rubber while the inner layer is an adhesive layer preferably of uncured rubber which is adapted to vulcanize in contact with the surface of the cable. The outer layer includes an overlap zone which is preferably also of uncured rubber which is adapted to vulcanize in contact with the overlapping portion of the inner layer.

摘要： A technique is disclosed for coating or insulation grafting a metallic cationic wire wherein the wire is placed in water in the presence of salts of carboxylate or other appropriate polymers having anionic groups together with a cationic substance, such as lithium. A dc current is then introduced to establish the wire as an anode. By electrolysis action there is established a hydrophobic coating having a polymer-anionic-to-metal-cationic bond with the metal. The procedure of introducing salts of appropriate anionic polymers and cationic substances where there is an insulation break and short between the wires, providing moisture or standing water and a small dc current has been found useful in repairing such breaks by the formation of an electrochemical coating on the exposed anode wire.

摘要： Disclosed is a wraparound protective closure in sheet form having a specially profiled transverse-edge which is enveloped when the closure is overlappingly wrapped around an elongate substrate and a method of protecting an elongate substrate using said closure. Repeating structural units along the profiled transverse-edge comprise spoiler-edges which run at right angles to the transverse direction of the profiled transverse-edge and cause air trapped along the enveloped, profiled transverse-edge to form into discrete pockets away from the spoiler-edges when the closure is overlappingly wrapped around the elongate substrate instead of forming a continuous channel along the enveloped edge. The wraparound closure is preferably a dimensionally-recoverable wraparound closure, most preferably a heat-shrinkable wraparound closure, and especially a closure comprised of a polymeric composition.
