摘要： An assembly for a direct current (DC) synchronous machine, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a stationary portion including a direct current (DC) armature winding and a rotating portion including alternating current (AC) field winding configured to supply DC output to the DC armature winding. A rotating inverter is configured to selectively communicate current to the AC field winding such that a frequency of the current is adjusted to approach synchronization with a position of the rotating portion. A method for generating DC output from a DC synchronous machine is also disclosed.

A configuration is such that the lead terminal has a lead protruding portion protruding from a contact with the regulator holder, and the IC regulator is positioned by the lead protruding portion being fitted into the lead opposing portion of the regulator holder.

摘要： The brush-holder regulator comprises a casing made from an insulating material suitable for being mounted on a rear bearing of an alternator and forming a one-piece assembly with at least one housing suitable for containing brushes allowing an electrical connection to be established with an excitation winding of a rotor of the alternator, an electronic control component (22) connected electrically to a trace circuit (21) overmoulded in the casing, and a cooling radiator (24) for the control component. According to the invention, the control component comprises a back electrode (225) on which the radiator (24) is mounted, the back electrode (225) and the radiator (24) being in electrical and thermal contact and rigidly attached to a portion (216) of the trace circuit.

A first channel includes a first main field winding and a first main field power converter disposed on a rotating portion. The first main field power converter selectively delivers voltage from the exciter winding to the first main field winding. A second channel includes a second main field winding and a second main field power converter disposed on the rotating portion. The second main field power converter selectively delivers voltage from the exciter winding to the second main field winding. A generator control unit is connected to the first channel and the second channel. The generator control unit monitors an output voltage at each of the first channel and the second channel and generates the first and second control signals based on the output voltage.

摘要： A machine for generating electricity has an exciter rotor with a plurality of coils, and is associated with a shaft to be driven by a source of rotation. A diode bridge is connected downstream of the exciter rotor to provide a rectifier for an AC current generated by rotation of the exciter rotor. The diode bridge rectifies the AC generated current into DC current, which is passed downstream to windings for a main rotor. A snubber circuit is positioned intermediate said rectifier and said main rotor, said snubber circuit including both a resistor and a capacitor.
