摘要： Color adjusting apparatus and method for a light source. A reflector of a required color is added to a light source of a scan module, a plating film of the required color is formed on a lens, or the lens is dyed with the required color. Or alternatively, the color of the light source is directly changed into the required color. As a result, the inconsistent intensities for the light in the primary color, red, green and blue output from the charge-coupled device caused by different brightness of the light source, different wavelength transmission of the lens, and different light sensitivity of the charge-coupled device is improved.

摘要： A scanning apparatus includes a cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL), a heating light source, a timer, a photosensor for detecting light that is emitted from the CCFL and the heating light source, and a controller for controlling operations of the scanning device. The warm-up time period of the CCFL exceeds that of the heating light source. After activation, the heating light source is capable of generating more heat than the CCFL, which induces more rapid heating of the CCFL. When the time period counted by the timer reaches a predetermined time, the controller turns off the heating light source and performs scanning using only the cold cathode fluorescent lamp.

摘要： A CIS (Contact Image Sensor) device that doesn't require any optical imaging elements includes a circuit board, a light-emitting module, and an image-sensing module. The light-emitting module is electrically connected with the circuit board. The image-sensing module is electrically connected with the circuit board and disposed beside the light-emitting module. Thereby, a light beam is projected from the light-emitting module to a document to form a bouncing light, and the image-sensing module is adjacent to the document to receive the bouncing light for sensing the image of the document. Hence, the present invention without the known GRIN not only reduces the manufacturing cost and the size of the CIS device, but also solves the known problems of assembly tolerance and large size.

摘要： A scanning apparatus has a light source part scanning a scanning beam on an original document. A frame has a light input part and a light output part. A reflection mirror is arranged in the frame and reflects the scanning beam inputted through the light input part to the light output part along a predetermined light proceeding path. A light receiving part is supported on the light output part, and receives the scanning beam reflected by the reflection mirror. A light source supporting member supports the light source part on the frame so that the beam scanned by the light source part and reflected on the original document passes through the light input part and proceeds along the light proceeding path. The light source supporting member mounts the different light source parts in the frame.
