摘要： A 3D laser projection systems and methods are disclosed herein. A laser projection system includes a left projector head and a right projector head, wherein a first video projected onto a movie screen by the left projector head has a first polarization and a second video projected onto the movie screen by the right projector head has a second polarization different from the first polarization. The laser projection system can include a laser light generator located a first defined distance away from the left projector head and a second defined distance from the right projector head and coupled to the left projector head and the right projector head with fiber optic cables that transmit light from the laser light generator to the left projector head and the right projector head. The laser light generator includes a laser diode configured to output light and to transmit it to the fiber optic cables.

摘要： A multi-view display device is provided, and the multi-view display device at least comprises a projector, a first lens set, and a second lens set. The projector contains a scan-lamp image, and the projector slants an incident ray corresponding to the scan-lamp image with a first angle. The first lens set receives the slanted incident ray and refracts that. The second lens set is slanted with the first angle, and the second lens set receives the slanted incident ray which is refracted by the first lens set and refracts that again, so as to expand a view area of the multi-view display device.

摘要： Disclosed is a light guiding valve apparatus comprising an optical valve, a two dimensional light source array and a focusing optic for providing large area collimated illumination from localized light sources. A stepped waveguide may be a stepped structure, in which the steps may be extraction features optically hidden to guided light, propagating in a first forward direction. Returning light propagating in a second backward direction may be refracted, diffracted, or reflected by the features to provide discrete illumination beams exiting from the top surface of the waveguide. A two dimensional array of viewing windows may be produced. Such controlled illumination may provide for efficient, multi-user autostereoscopic displays with wide viewing freedom and low cross talk and near-eye displays that are substantially transparent.

摘要： A rear-projection 3D auto-stereoscopic displays system using time-sequencing approach is configured for forming a plurality of perspective views of 3D images of an object or scene in a field of view. 3D displays system comprises a display component, an optical scanning assembly a sensor and a controller. The optical scanning assembly includes a first lens array, a complex of two (second and third) lens arrays, an optical beam shifting device and an optical projection block. The complex of two lens arrays is used as a screen for the 3D display system. The present invention can be employed especially for a wide range of screen sizes and allows significant reduction or elimination of optical cross-talk, at the same time reducing mechanical complexity of 3D display system.

A video signal generator performs control such that a second subframe in an N-th frame in a left-eye image is displayed on DMDs and then a second subframe in an N-th frame in a right-eye image is displayed on the DMDs. Furthermore, the video signal generator performs control such that a displayed location is not changed on a screen and the same types of subframes are displayed at the time when frames are switched.
