The first signal corresponds to a lamp brightness level. Moreover, the system includes a brightness detector configured to receive the first signal and output a second signal. The second signal indicates whether the lamp brightness level is higher than a threshold brightness level.

The protective circuit of the lighting device is controlled in such a way that the protective circuit does not operate when the luminance adjustment value adjusted through the operation portion is smaller than a luminance threshold value.

The auxiliary manipulated variable of the second control loop represents the first reference variable of the first control loop, the first time constant being smaller than the second time constant by at least a factor of 10, and the first manipulated variable represents the duty factor of the output signal of the inverter.

    • A light driver circuit device for synchronously driving a plurality of cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs) is provided. The light driver circuit device includes an inverter circuit board and a balance circuit board. The inverter circuit board has an inverter circuit coupled to a driving signal for outputting a driving voltage to drive the CCFLs synchronously. The balance circuit board and the inverter circuit board are installed separately, and the balance circuit board has a balance circuit coupled to a terminal of each CCFL and the inverter circuit. The CCFL driving architecture is designed to install the inverter circuit and the balance circuit individually, thus effectively reducing the space of the driving circuit and the total cost of the circuit design. Furthermore, the balance circuit board can balance the current in each CCFL effectively, and there is no limitation to where the balance circuit board can be disposed.

    • An illuminating device for a display device includes a tube lamp which can be driven in parallel by power supplied from a power supply device through a first power supply member and a second power supply member; the first power supply member; and the second power supply member. The illuminating device is provided with illuminating sections whose equivalent circuit is a serially connected body having capacitors connected to the both ends of a negative resistance. The illuminating sections are driven in parallel by separating them into two systems. A voltage to be applied to the left end of the illuminating sections which belong to the first system, and a voltage to be applied to the left end of the illuminating sections which belong to the second system are permitted to be in opposite phases, and a voltage to be applied to the right end of the illuminating sections which belong to the first system and a voltage to be applied to the right end of the illuminating sections which belong to the second system are permitted to be in opposite phases. Thus, display noise of the display device can be reduced.

    • An exemplary backlight control circuit (20) includes at least two sampling circuits (21), at least two feedback circuits (22), and a PWM IC (23). Each of the sampling circuits includes a sampling output (210) and a backlight lamp (211). The PWM IC includes a current sense pin (230). The at least two feedback circuits correspond to the at least two sampling circuits, respectively. Each of the feedback circuits includes a resistor (222) and a diode (223) electrically coupled in parallel. The sampling output is configured to output a first voltage when the backlight lamp is in a normal working state, and output a second voltage when the backlight lamp has an open circuit. One terminal of the diode is electrically coupled to the sampling output of a corresponding one of the sampling circuits, and an opposite terminal of the diode is electrically coupled to the current sense pin.
