    • A connector device is provided for a curtain wall system of the type having structural members secured to the building framing to define frames to support glazing panels. The glazing panels each have a sash by which they are secured to the frames of structural members to form an outer wall portion of a building. The curtain wall system has connector devices securing one of the glazing panels to the frames of structural members. The connector device comprises a keeper secured to a frame, and a latch mechanism secured opposite the keeper on the sash. The latch mechanism has a latch bolt automatically displaceable to a locking position upon contact with the keeper. The keeper and the latch mechanism cooperate in the locking position to lock the glazing panel to the frame in a secured position. A method for installing the connector device is also provided.

    • A magnet latch applying magnetic force for opening and closing the upper and lower cases is provided. The magnet latch includes a push button, a sliding block, a magnet, a magnetic hook, and an elastic member. To close the upper and lower cases, one moves the push button to slide the sliding block to one side. The magnetic hook is attracted by the magnet to move upwards. Once the magnetic hook attaches to the magnet, the push button is released and the sliding block moves toward and holds the magnetic hook, so as to achieve the purpose of magnetic latching. On the other hand, to open the upper case, one moves the push button to slide the sliding block to the other side, thereby opening up the upper case. Due to the weakened magnetic force and its own gravity, the magnetic hook returns back into the lower case.

    • A storage cabinet comprises: a container having a floor, upright side walls and a rear wall attached to and extending upwardly from the floor, and a ceiling attached to the side walls and rear wall, the floor, side walls, rear wall, and ceiling defining a storage cavity; a vertical support member extending upwardly from the floor; at least one door pivotally attached to one of the side walls and movable between an open position, in which the cavity is accessible from a position forward thereof, and a closed position, in which the door contacts the support member and prevents access to the cavity from a position forward thereof; and a latching mechanism attached to the support member. The latching mechanism includes two release members protruding forwardly from the support member, wherein an upper one of the release members is positioned above a lower one of the release members. The release members are movable in unison from a latched position, in which the latching mechanism latches the door in the closed position, and an unlatched position, in which the latching mechanism allows the door to move to the open position. In this configuration, an operator carrying a load with both hands can choose to unlatch the door by hand or by foot, depending on which method is more convenient.

    • A coupling device that requires no manual actuation to achieve coupling features a locking bolt movable along a hole extending into a mouth of a hook body to secure a coupling pin therein. A control lever pivotally connected to the locking bolt opposite the mouth end is biased toward a locked position in which motion of the locking bolt is blocked. To engage the coupling pin and the hook mouth, the coupling pin and an operable pin extending through the hollow locking bolt are brought into contact. This causes an end of the operable pin opposite the mouth to push against the control lever to unlock it from the latching position. The coupling pin pushes the locking bolt out of the mouth so that it can pass by further into it, at which point the lever and bolt return to the locked positions to secure the coupling pin inside.
