摘要： Dental instrumentation for use in guiding a cutting tool to remove tooth structure from a working tooth is prepared. A digital model of cutting guide shell structure for placement around a portion of the tooth to be treated is combined with preset tool movements to be made by the cutting tool by one or more processors to define final cutting guide data corresponding to final cutting guide structure for guiding the cutting tool. A digital model of a fixation instrument configuration for fixing the dental instrumentation to an adjacent tooth to the working tooth is combined with the final cutting guide data by one or more processors to define final instrument configuration data corresponding to a final instrument configuration for releasably fixing the dental instrumentation to the adjacent tooth and for guiding the cutting tool in the removal of the tooth structure from the tooth to be treated.

In at least one embodiment, a computer readable medium containing instructions for fabricating an arch-shaped device for coupling to a patient's mouth is provided. The instructions can include using a denture form device to obtain an impression of a patient's mouth. The instructions can also include selecting an arch device and adapting that arch device to conform to a model of a patient's mouth, such that the adapted arch device may be used to ultimately form a denture.

摘要： A method is provided for producing a dental prosthesis from a blank using a CAD/CAM device, wherein the blank consists partially of base material and partially of tooth material, and a boundary surface between these materials is formed as a wave, the wave crests and wave valleys of which alternate with each other along the outer periphery of the blank. The apex of each wave crest extends substantially radially with respect to the blank. The CAD/CAM device fixes the position of a retention part, which serves to fasten the prosthesis to the alveolar crest of a patient, in particular of an external telescope, of a cover of a bar, or of an abutment in the prosthesis in such a way that it passes through the boundary surface. The retention part is fastened by means of gluing or incorporation by polymerisation.

affixing several prefabricated prosthetic teeth in a support;
producing a prosthetic base according to a virtual model with a CAM method to create tooth sockets that lie parallel to each other;
processing the prosthetic teeth basally and adjacent cervically while held in the support in accordance with the virtual model using a CAM method, so that the roots of the prosthetic teeth produced lie parallel to each other when the prosthetic teeth are inserted into the prosthetic base; and,
inserting the processed prosthetic teeth together or in groups into the tooth sockets of the prosthetic base and attaching the processed prosthetic teeth in the tooth sockets.
Also provided are a dental prosthesis produced by the method and a device for implementing the method.

摘要： Dental devices and systems and methods for making dental devices are described herein. In some embodiments, denture base material may be adapted to fit a model of a patient's mouth, and a pre-set arch of denture teeth may be adjusted the model. The pre-set arch may be impressed into the denture base material to create a channel. In some embodiments, the cure may be a partial cure and/or a releasing agent may be used such that the pre-set arch may be removed, if needed for further adjustments, after assessing the fit of the denture device. If the fit is correct, another cure may be performed to finish the denture device. If the fit is incorrect, a new bite registration and/or adjustments to the denture base material and/or pre-set arch of denture teeth may be made.
