摘要： Dental restorations are created by preparing a hydrocolloid mold for such dental appliances as crowns and bridges. A slurry of zirconia powder and 3-O-acryloyl-D-glucose is prepared. The slurry is gelcast in the hydrocolloid mold with polymerization of the 3-O-acryloyl-D-glucose to a green body. The green body is dried and machined to the form of the dental restoration. The polymerized 3-O-acryloyl-D-glucose is then burned from the machined green body. The remaining zirconia body in the form of the dental restoration is then sintered to form the finished device.

The method can also include selecting an arch device and adapting that arch device to conform to a model of a patient's mouth. The method can also include a denture form device that can be combined with the arch device to form a complete denture.

摘要： A frictionally-retained detachable dental attachment assembly or anchor device is designed to attach a dental appliance with a tooth root or implant. The assembly includes a denture attachment housing for securing in the dental appliance, an abutment attached with a tooth root or implant, and a compressible retention member with a first end in fixed attachment with the cap and a second end in snap engagement with the abutment via a frictionally-retained ball secured within a cavity of the abutment. The retention member is formed using a compressible material to allow the ball to compress and the retention member to flex while inserting the ball into the cavity. Additional friction-retained and fixed attachment configurations of the dental anchor device are provided, along with methods of securing a dental appliance in a subject's mouth by means of the friction-retained and fixed attachment dental anchor devices.

摘要： Casting jigs, methods, and kits that may be used in manufacture of anatomical healing caps. A casting jig may include a body having one or more wells within the body, each well being open at a proximal end thereof and having a negative shape corresponding to an anatomical healing cuff body of a given tooth position. The casting jig includes an opening through the bottom surface through which an elongate handle may be inserted, allowing a temporary abutment to be coupled into the distal end of the elongate handle, so that the abutment is disposed in the well, held in place by the handle, as it is used as a core about which the anatomical healing cuff body is formed. A crown forming jig for forming an inexpensive, chair-side prepared bis-acrylic temporary crown that may be easily and quickly installed over the anatomical healing cuff body is also disclosed.

摘要： Dental devices and systems and methods for making dental devices are described herein. In some embodiments, denture base material may be adapted to fit a model of a patient's mouth, and a pre-set arch of denture teeth may be adjusted the model. The pre-set arch may be impressed into the denture base material to create a channel. In some embodiments, the cure may be a partial cure and/or a releasing agent may be used such that the pre-set arch may be removed, if needed for further adjustments, after assessing the fit of the denture device. If the fit is correct, another cure may be performed to finish the denture device. If the fit is incorrect, a new bite registration and/or adjustments to the denture base material and/or pre-set arch of denture teeth may be made.

摘要： Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a multilayer zirconia block for artificial teeth, including a first material mixing step of mixing a 3 mol % yttrium oxide-tetragonal zirconia polycrystal and an organic binder, a second material mixing step of mixing a 3 mol % yttrium oxide-tetragonal zirconia polycrystal, a 5 mol % yttrium oxide-tetragonal zirconia polycrystal and an organic binder, a third material mixing step of mixing a 5 mol % yttrium oxide-tetragonal zirconia polycrystal and an organic binder, a compression molding step of sequentially placing the mixtures obtained in the first material mixing step, the second material mixing step, and the third material mixing step in a mold for compression molding and performing compression molding, and a calcination step of calcining a compression molded product obtained in the compression molding step. This method provides a multilayer zirconia block that contains yttrium oxide, the amount of which is adjusted in the manufacturing process, thus showing a color similar to that of natural teeth after impregnation with a coloring solution.
