摘要： There is disclosed a selective wetting apparatus (2) comprising a roller (20) rotatable about a roller axis (24) and comprising a wettable roller surface (22); an applicator unit (10) having a lip (12) which extends parallel to the roller axis (24) and is radially spaced apart from the roller surface (22) by a gap (30), wherein the applicator unit (10) is to convey liquid agent (14) towards the roller (20) so that the liquid agent (14) forms a liquid bridge (32) over the gap (30) to wet a wettable axial portion of the roller surface (22); and a flow guide (50) to direct a gas flow (56) into a regulated axial portion of the gap (30) to locally prevent formation of a liquid bridge (32), and thereby prevent wetting of a corresponding axial portion of the roller surface (22).

摘要： Provided are a blade device equipped with a blade member which can accurately adjust pressing force due to a blade member, and a printing machine and a coating device equipped with the blade device. A blade device according to the present invention has: a blade member contacting with a plate roll to which coating material is to be applied; an upper holder contacting with the blade member from one surface side of the blade member; a lower holder contacting with the blade member from another surface side of the blade member; a tube contacting with the blade member and configured to expand and contract by pressure of fluid; and a tube positioning part which is provided on the upper holder and positions the tube closer to the roller, in a direction in which the blade member extends, than a tip end of the lower holder is. The tube adjusts a pressing force, of the tip end of the blade member, against the roller by being expanded or contracted while being held by the tube positioning part and the blade member.

摘要： A variable lithographic inking system includes a chamber blade system configured to supply ink to an anilox member of an inking system. The inking system includes a soft ink transfer roll and a hard form roll. Ink is transferred from the anilox roll to the form roll by way of the transfer roll, and from the form roll to a reimageable surface layer of an imaging member of a variable data lithographic system. An ink layer free of ink history is uniformly applied onto a surface of the form roll, and subsequently transferred to the reimageable surface layer while avoiding or substantially eliminating image ghosting related to inking non-uniformities.

摘要： A color system of a rotary printing press includes a doctor blade device with a doctor blade chamber containing ink for a printing process, an ink reservoir from which ink is supplied to the doctor blade chamber, and a supply system which allows ink to be supplied inside the color system. The color system is connected to a storage reservoir into which ink from the color system is introduced, to a solvent reservoir containing solvent for cleaning the color system, and to a refuse container into which ink soiled by the solvent is introduced. The supply system cleans the color system by automatically pumping off ink to the storage reservoir, and automatically cleaning with the solvent, by collecting the ink in the ink reservoir and supplying the solvent to the refuse container.

摘要： An intaglio printing press includes, an intaglio plate cylinder, inking units, each having an ink supplying pattern roller in contact with the intaglio plate cylinder, and each ink supplying pattern roller having different supply patterned portions, an ink removing unit which removes surplus ink of the ink supplied to the intaglio plate cylinder, an ink recycling unit provided upstream of the ink removing unit with respect to a rotation direction of the intaglio plate cylinder and downstream of the inking unit, and adapted to remove ink before the ink is removed by the ink removing unit and return the removed ink to the inking unit. The ink recycling unit includes precedence ink removing means which includes a pre-wiping pattern roller in contact with the intaglio plate cylinder for removing the ink from the intaglio plate cylinder, and ink returning means which returns the removed ink to the inking unit.
