摘要： An image recording apparatus includes an operation panel, a sheet conveyor, a print head, a cutting device, and a sheet discharge port. The operation panel is disposed at a first-side face of a housing in a particular direction that extends from a first side to a second side of the image recording apparatus. The sheet conveyor is configured to convey a sheet along a conveyance path in a conveyance direction. The print head is disposed downstream of the sheet conveyor in the conveyance direction. The cutting device has a cutter for cutting the sheet. The sheet discharge port is open at the first-side face of the housing. At least a part of the sheet passes through the sheet discharge port when the sheet is discharged from the conveyance path. The cutter positioned below the operation panel is exposed to an outside of the housing through the sheet discharge port.

摘要： A tension applying device is attached to a sheet conveyance device. The sheet conveyance device includes a feeding roller for feeding a continuous-form sheet and a winding roller for winding the continuous-form sheet fed from the feeding roller. The tension applying device applies tension to the continuous-form sheet between the feeding roller and the winding roller. The tension applying device includes a guide rail, a slider, a tension bar, and an angle adjustment mechanism. The guide rail is inclined downward toward a continuous-form sheet. The slider slides along the guide rail. The tension bar is supported by the slider and brought into pressure contact with the continuous-form sheet by weight of the slider. The angle adjustment mechanism adjusts an inclination angle of the guide rail with respect to a horizontal direction.

The controller is configured to perform receiving a setting for a discharge mode of a printed medium piece. The controller is configured to further perform, in a case where the discharge mode is currently set to a forcible discharge mode, forcibly discharging the printed medium piece from the casing through the discharging opening, a leading edge of a continuous printing medium being conveyed by a first feed amount in the conveying direction by driving the conveying unit such that the printed medium piece is pushed by the leading edge of the continuous printing medium. The controller is configured to further perform, in a case where the discharge mode is currently set to a non-forcible discharge mode, non-forcibly discharging the printed medium piece from the casing.

摘要： A cutter unit includes a first frame, a fixed blade, a movable blade, a movable blade drive mechanism and a pressure mechanism. The fixed blade has a first cutting edge portion. One end portion of the movable blade has one end configured to cut a cut item in cooperation with the first cutting edge portion. The second cutting edge portion and the first cutting edge portion contacting with each other at a first point and a second point. Another end portion of the movable blade has a contacting portion in contact with the first frame at a third point. The first point, the second point and the third point define an imaginary triangle. The pressure member presses the movable blade at a pressure contact position so that the movable blade presses against the fixed blade. The pressure contact position is positioned substantially within the imaginary triangle.

摘要： An image processing apparatus includes an apparatus body, a feeding cassette, a pin member, a lever, an elastic member, and a guide mechanism. The feeding cassette is insertable into and ejectable from the apparatus body in one direction and includes an insertion position for insertion into the apparatus body and an ejection position for ejection from the apparatus body. The pin member is connected to the feeding cassette. The lever is rotatable around an axis in a first direction, and includes a pin engagement portion engaging with the pin member at a tip end in the axial direction. The elastic member includes a tip end connected between the rotation axis of the lever and the pin engagement portion of the lever, and adds a force for rotation in an insertion direction. The guide mechanism shortens a distance between the pin member and the rotation axis of the lever.
