摘要： A method of forming a cap assembly comprises injection molding a cap in a first shot from a first polymeric material, wherein the cap has an opening at one end defined by a perimeter. Injection molding a tamper band in a second shot from a second polymeric material such that the tamper band is monolithically attached to the perimeter of the cap. The first polymeric material and the second polymeric material comprise dissimilar resins and the tamper band is configured to sever from the cap with no burrs remaining on the perimeter of the cap.

The container prevents uncontrolled dripping of a liquid and directs a liquid drop present on a cap which closes the spout back into the container when the cap is open. The container includes a series of measuring indicators on the base for measuring a volume of material, such as a liquid. Also, the cover includes a further series of inverted measuring indicators for measuring a volume of material. The invention likewise includes a measuring device for measuring two or more liquids or dry ingredients such as by providing volume measuring indicators on a cover for a container as well as on the container. The measuring device may be a single measuring device which measures two or more liquids or dry materials, and may be configured for mixing the measured materials together in the same measuring device.

The finish portion defines an opening, and includes an upper surface and an outer surface that defines a substantially rectangular shape with rounded corners when viewed in transverse cross-section. The shape of the finish portion when viewed in transverse cross-section is smaller than the shape of the main body portion. The continuous ledge is defined between the outer surface of the main body portion and the outer surface of the finish portion. The ledge has a first width, adjacent to one of the rounded corners of the finish portion, that is greater than a second width that is not adjacent to one of the rounded corners of the finish portion.

A bag-holding strip extending over the lid underside retains the bag therewithin. The strip may be integral with or separate from the lid. If separate, the strip has a cup-engaging rim that can snap the strip over the container lip.
