摘要： A refuse vehicle includes a battery configured to provide electrical energy to drive at least one of a plurality of wheels, a vehicle body supported by the chassis and defining a receptacle for storing refuse therein, and an electric power take-off system including a motor configured to power to a hydraulic system in response to receiving the electrical energy from the battery, an inverter configured to provide the electrical energy to the motor from the battery, a sensor configured to detect thermal energy within the inverter, and a controller configured to receive data from the sensor, wherein the controller is further configured to determine if the data from the sensor is greater than a critical operating condition and reduce a rate of electrical energy supplied to the motor in response to determining that the data from the sensor is greater than the critical operating condition.

The plurality of panels define a longitudinal direction, a hopper volume and a storage volume, the ramp is disposed within the hopper volume, and the ejector is configured to fully eject refuse from the storage volume. The ejector includes a wall at least partially defining an opening within a plane and a panel pivotally coupled to the wall. The panel is selectively rotatable relative to the wall between a closed position and an open position, the panel spanning the opening when selectively rotated into the closed position and angularly offset relative to the plane of the opening when selectively rotated into the open position.

摘要： An elongated container of a truck has a closed front end wall and a hinged rear outlet closure, and a side infeed opening for receiving garbage. This empty container is configured to receive an elongated base upon which is mounted a reciprocating conveyor floor for moving garbage in the container outward through the opened rear closure for deposit at a garbage disposal site. The power drive mechanism for driving the reciprocating floor is located at the front end of the container and is shielded from input garbage by a deflector secured to the reciprocating floor. The deflector also serves as a pusher for compacting and moving garbage in the container out through the opened rear closure. The self-contained reciprocating floor is easily carried manually and fed through the opened rear closure and secured firmly in the truck container.
