    • A hydraulic system for a vehicle includes a first hydraulic circuit, a second hydraulic circuit, and a main actuator. The first hydraulic circuit includes a first pump having a flow outlet; a first pressure line having a pump end coupled to the flow outlet of the first pump; and a first load sensing line having a pump end coupled to the first pump and a pressure end coupled to the first pressure line. The second hydraulic circuit includes a second pump having a flow outlet; a second pressure line having a pump end coupled to the flow outlet of the second pump; and a second load sensing line having a pump end coupled to the second pump and a pressure end coupled to the second pressure line. The main actuator is coupled to the first pressure line and the second pressure line and is configured to oppose a load force. The first load sensing line is separate from the second load sensing line such that the first pump and the second pump respond independently to the load force.

    • An elongated container of a truck has a closed front end wall and a hinged rear outlet closure, and a side infeed opening for receiving garbage. This empty container is configured to receive an elongated base upon which is mounted a reciprocating conveyor floor for moving garbage in the container outward through the opened rear closure for deposit at a garbage disposal site. The power drive mechanism for driving the reciprocating floor is located at the front end of the container and is shielded from input garbage by a deflector secured to the reciprocating floor. The deflector also serves as a pusher for compacting and moving garbage in the container out through the opened rear closure. The self-contained reciprocating floor is easily carried manually and fed through the opened rear closure and secured firmly in the truck container.

    • A manual/automatic side loading and rear discharge refuse collection truck body as disclosed which incorporates full ejection without truck body tipping. A unique packing system as provided which includes a low profile packer panel which operates in a low profile charging material receiving hopper which also features lowered or dropped floor to facilitate optional manual loading. The charging hopper features a low profile which creates a dropped area beneath the forward portion of the storage enclosure so that material deposited in the charging hopper can be fed by the packing system into the storage enclosure through a bottom forward charging opening. A packer-ejector assist panel is provided to assist in clearing material from the dropped area portion of the charging hopper.
