摘要： Provided herein are multimodal elastomer compositions comprising a first polymer fraction and a second polymer fraction, and methods for making such compositions. The elastomer compositions are preferably ethylene, α-olefin, copolymers or ethylene, α-olefin, polyene terpolymers. The elastomer compositions have high Mooney viscosity, thereby providing for improved elastomeric properties in compounds and other articles formed from the elastomer compositions. Surprisingly, the high Mooney viscosity compositions exhibit a much lower than expected viscosity when formulated into elastomer compounds. Thus, the processing detriments typically associated with high Mooney viscosity elastomers are minimized through the use of the elastomer compositions, and methods for making them, disclosed herein.

摘要： Provided are: a rubber composition for treads having high grip performance, abrasion resistance, and tensile properties and capable of reducing the occurrence of blowing even during high-temperature running although it is a high softener content composition incorporating at least a certain amount of a softener with a rubber component including diene rubber; and a pneumatic tire including a tread formed from the rubber composition for treads. Included is a rubber composition for treads containing: a diene rubber including styrene-butadiene rubber; at least one softener selected from the group consisting of low temperature plasticizers, process oils, and resins having a softening point of 160° C. or lower; zinc dithiophosphate; and sulfur, wherein, per 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber, there are 40 parts by mass or more of the softener, 0.2-15 parts by mass of the zinc dithiophosphate, and less than 2.5 parts by mass of zinc oxide.

摘要： A process for regenerating sulfur-crosslinked rubber vulcanizates to regenerates, wherein at least one regenerating agent is used in the regeneration. The regenerating agent is selected from the group consisting of dithiophosphoryl polysulfides and/or silanes having a polysulfane group. Regenerates which have been produced by means of the process lead to improved or equal rolling resistance indicators and a lower compression set in vulcanized rubber mixtures compared to regenerates known in the prior art.

The invention relates to a rubber composition for a clinch, a chafer or a sidewall, comprising: a rubber component; a compound represented by formula (I): wherein R1 to R4 each independently represent a C1-18 linear or branched alkyl group or a C5-12 cycloalkyl group; and zinc oxide, wherein the amount of the compound represented by formula (I) is 0.2 to 6 parts by mass and the amount of the zinc oxide is 1.0 part by mass or less, for each 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
