摘要： The invention relates to the dyeing of human keratinous fibers, in particular the hair, using anionic direct dyes or acid dyes having a tetraalkylammonium counterion of formula (I), with Col(−)m, R1, R2, R3, R4, m, and n as defined in the description. A subject-matter of the invention is a dyeing composition comprising an anionic dye of formula (I) and a method for dyeing keratinous fibers, such as the hair, employing the said composition. A subject-matter of the invention is likewise novel dyes of formula (I) and their uses for the coloring of keratinous fibers. This composition makes it possible to obtain a chromatic, powerful and particularly persistent coloring on keratinous fibers.

摘要： The present invention relates to compositions comprising at least one oxonol dye and at least one metal complex of formula (I-1) or (I-2), to recording media comprising the compositions and to use of the compositions in the production of optical recording media, colour filters and printing inks, wherein the substituents are as defined in the description. Use of the metal complexes of formula (I) results, surprisingly, in a comparatively weak tendency of the oxonol dyes to aggregate in the solid state so that the absorption curve remains advantageously narrow even in the solid state, as a result of which recording media having high reflectivity as well as high sensitivity and good playback characteristics in the desired spectral range are made available.

摘要： This invention relates to liquid complexes of anionic organic dyes with quaternary ammonium compounds which are homogeneous and thus substantially free of unwanted inorganic salts. Of particular interest as quaternary ammonium compounds are those which comprise alkoxylated moieties. Such complexes are formed through ionic bonds formed between the two compounds. The complexes are then removed of substantially all resultant unwanted salt formed from the cations of the dye and the counter ions of the quat so as to obtain an homogeneous liquid colorant which easily disperses within different media and which possess favorable migration and coloring characteristics. This invention also concerns methods of making the aforementioned salt-free anionic dye/quat complexes as well as methods of utilizing such complexes for dyeing thermoplastic and thermoset compositions and the incorporation of such complexes within aqueous and non-aqueous formulations and ink compositions.

The obtained dyeings have exceptionally good wet fastness.
