摘要： A structure and method of connecting a plurality of PSC-I beams (PSC-I beams) to each other using steel brackets. The beam connecting structure, each having a sheath pipe therein, includes an end plate which is mounted on each of both ends of each of the PSC-I beams, with a through hole provided on an upper portion of the end plate to correspond to the sheath pipe embedded in each of the PSC-I beams; a steel bracket integrally which is provided on the end plate to be perpendicular to the end plate; a bracket coupling plate to integrally couple the aligned steel brackets to each other; a bottom connecting plate which is provided on lower ends of the aligned steel brackets to connect the steel brackets to each other; a connecting sheath pipe which is provided between the PSC-I beams so that both ends of the connecting sheath pipe are respectively inserted into the through holes of the neighboring end plates of the PSC-I beams while the PSC-I beams are arranged linearly; a prestress strand which is inserted in the sheath pipes of the PSC-I beams and the connecting sheath pipe; and a concrete part which is filled in a space between the PSC-I beams to embed the aligned steel brackets, the bracket coupling plate and the connecting sheath pipe in the concrete part.

摘要： This invention provides an improved and more efficient method and articles of manufacture to construct new bridge decks, or to replace existing bridge decks. This unique method of constructing deck slabs utilizes precast, prestressed concrete form panels that are continuous over the floor beams or supporting walls. A cast-in-place concrete topping is placed on the form panels and finished to the proper grade to become the top surface of the slab. The cast-in-place topping also bonds to the roughened top surface of the precast, prestressed form panels and acts with the panels to create a structural deck slab. In addition, this invention embodies a new method and article of manufacture and installation for precast parapets, safety curbs and traffic divisors which are attached to a precast, prestressed continuous panel positioned on the supporting beams, or a conventional bridge deck.

摘要： A composite, pre-stressed structural member comprised of concrete and a lower metal support member, and method for forming and pre-stressing the same. The metal support member and a concrete mold are connected for parallel deflection with the support member uppermost and shear-connectors extending into the mold. The connected mold and support member are supported for deflection and concrete is poured into the mold and allowed to harden. During hardening of the concrete the mold and support member are deflected by the weight of the concrete, mold and support member, pre-stressing the support member. Upon hardening of the concrete and inverting to a concrete-uppermost position, a composite, pre-stressed structural member is provided.

摘要： A method for making a prefabricated, prestressed module includes arranging one or more steel beams atop a supporting formwork element in a direction transverse to the supporting formwork element and arranging one or more precast deck elements across the one or more steel beams to create a substantially continuous surface. The one or more precast deck elements have pockets for receiving connectors that protrude from the one or more steel beams. The method also includes arranging the supporting formwork element to allow the one or more steel beams to bend into a cambered shape to impart compressive stresses to a bottom flange of the one or more steel beams and tension stresses to a top flange of the one or more steel beams and inserting grout into the pockets to hold the cambered shape and to bond the one or more precast deck elements to the connectors and the top flange.
