摘要： A device that allows for the sequential operations of hole drilling, resin and catalyst insertion and rod insertion in a single machine is provided. The drilling part uses a regular mining drilling machine that is fitted onto the device. Once the hole is drilled, a pipe is inserted into the hole. There are two possible versions of the pipe, a single pipe configured to work with an air cannon shooting resin tubes and a co-joined double pipe to inject resin and a catalyst in separate co-joined pipes so as to emerge unmixed at the end of the pipes. The next step consists in screwing in the rod into the hole, the twisting motion mixes resin and catalyst and in a matter of seconds, the rod is fully inserted and the chemical reaction has started. Because of the speed and accuracy of insertion and the thoroughness of mixing, more catalyst than usual can be used for a faster hardening of the resin, which secures the rod much better and faster.

The rod moves relative to the sleeve between a drill position, wherein the drill bit is spaced from the sleeve's leading end, and an insertion position, wherein the sleeve's leading end abuts the bit. The drill and insertion positions are achieved by applying a force to the first and second drive surfaces, respectively.

The mesh rolling shaft is located at a back end of the mesh roll storage rack. A limit mechanism and a damping mechanism are disposed on the mesh rolling shaft.

摘要： A system for drilling one or more boreholes in a face of a mine passage including markers attached to the mine passage. A drilling machine includes one or more drills for drilling the one or more boreholes, and a first sensor for sensing a position of the markers. Based on the sensed position of the at least two markers, a computer determines: (i) a survey vector generally parallel to the line; and (ii) a face plane generally orthogonal to the survey vector and coincident with a location where the survey vector intersects the face. A controller may be provided for automatically controlling the feeding of the drill(s) based on the location of the face plane and the back plane to form the boreholes in the face. A back plane may also be determined to ensure that all boreholes are drilled to a corresponding depth. Related methods are also disclosed.

摘要： A safety plug for use in rock drilling operations. The safety plug includes a base part and one or more expander elements. The base part has a leading end and a trailing end and a generally cylindrical outer surface between the leading and trailing ends, on which one or more external spirals are formed. The external spirals are provided to engage the internal wall of a bore within which the safety plug is inserted to anchor the base part within the bore. The one or more expander elements have an inactive non-expanded condition and an active, laterally expanded condition. The safety plug is operable to absorb load applied to its leading end in two stages, whereby: in a first stage, load applied to the leading end of the one or more expander elements up to a predetermined load is transferred to the base part and the base part is operable to react the load by engagement of the spirals with the internal wall of the bore. In a second stage, load applied to the same leading end beyond the predetermined load causes the one or more expander elements to transition to the active condition in which the expander elements expand laterally to engage the internal wall of the bore to resist shifting movement of the safety plug within the bore in the direction of the applied load.
