摘要： A washing machine includes a washing tub rotatably disposed to accommodate laundry, a pulsator rotatably disposed in the washing tub, a drive shaft to rotate the pulsator, a dehydration shaft to be connected to the washing tub and through which the drive shaft passes, a solenoid to form a magnetic field when a current is applied, a fixing core to surround the solenoid, and a clutch to couple and uncouple the drive shaft and the dehydration shaft. The clutch includes an armature to be lifted by a magnetic force of the solenoid, and a clutch coupler to be elevated along the dehydration shaft, perform coupling between the drive shaft and the dehydration shaft in a first position, and perform uncoupling between the drive shaft and the dehydration shaft in a second position lifted from the first position.

A ratchet surface (29,129) presents a plurality of teeth disposed in axially aligned and radially spaced relationship with the annular projection. The rotatable member includes a magnetic pole piece (62,162) disposed in radially spaced and concentrically aligned relationship with said coil assembly. The rotatable member includes a locking member (58,158) pivotably attached to the annular projection and pivotable between an engaged position in engagement with one of the teeth in response to the coil assembly being de-energized and a released position displaced from engagement with the teeth and attracted towards the magnetic pole piece in response to the coil assembly being energized.

摘要： A power split hybrid powertrain includes an electrically actuated brake that selectively engages a ring gear attached to a flywheel. The ring gear may be, for example, a starter ring gear. Engagement of the brake while the engine is stopped permits use of both electric machines to provide torque to vehicle wheels, thereby increasing the electric torque capacity of the powertrain. The brake is mounted for movement relative to the ring gear, and a mechanical linkage is attached to the brake. In the event of a malfunction of the brake that prevents normal operation of the powertrain, the linkage is manually actuatable by a vehicle operator to move the brake to an override position wherein it cannot engage the ring gear.

摘要： The subject disclosure relates to a coil module assembly for a bi-directional clutch assembly having at least one active clutch. The coil module assembly includes a housing having an actuator housing portion and a PCB housing portion. An electromagnetic actuator is disposed in the actuator housing portion for effectuating pivotal movement of the active strut from an unlocked position to a locked position in response to an energization of the electromagnetic actuator. An integrated printed circuit board (PCB) is disposed in the PCB housing portion and is in electrical communication with the electromagnetic actuator for selectively energizing the electromagnetic actuator. The housing further includes a thermally decoupled housing portion which is disposed between the actuator housing portion and the PCB housing portion for thermally decoupling, i.e., reducing heat transfer, from the electromagnetic actuator to the PCB during selective energization of the electromagnetic actuator.

The speed reducer has multiple stages of gears, an input shaft and an intermediate shaft; the differential is connected between the axle half shafts; the electromagnetic tooth-mounted clutch is installed on the input shaft or the intermediate shaft of the speed reducer or on the axle half shafts. When the electromagnetic tooth-mounted clutch is in engagement, driving force of the electric motor is transmitted to the vehicle axle via the speed reducer and the electromagnetic jaw clutch, to provide an auxiliary driving force to the vehicle. When the power of the entire vehicle is insufficient at the acceleration phase, the electrically driving assembly, by using the electromagnetic jaw clutch, provides an auxiliary driving force to the entire vehicle.

A U-shaped member including a pair of actuation legs is attached to the pin member and forms a magnetic gap between the base end of the strut and peripheral ends of the legs, such that when the coil is energized the peripheral ends of the legs are polarized in a first polarity and the frame and the strut are polarized with an opposite polarity thereby biasing the strut toward the peripheral ends and pivoting the actuation end into engagement with a cam surface of the engagement member.
