    • Embodiments provide a multi-pass kiln with two or more chambers, an entrance and an exit at a proximal end of the kiln, and a reciprocal flow path extending through the kiln from the entrance to the exit. Lumber charges traveling along the reciprocal flow path may travel in a first direction along one side of the heated second chamber before traveling in a substantially opposite second direction along the opposite side of the second chamber. The distal end of the kiln may be substantially sealed, and a pressure differential between the distal end and the proximal end may draw moist heated air from the heated chamber toward the exit and entry to preheat and/or condition lumber charges traveling through the first chamber.

    • An apparatus for the temperature regulation processing of electronic components such as semiconductor circuits, printed circuit boards and the like comprises a temperature regulated housing through which the components are conveyed on carriers. The carriers enter through an inlet slot in the housing provided with temperature regulating members and are conveyed onto a magazine and then out through an outlet slot opposite the inlet slot once processing is complete. Inside the housing, the carriers are loaded on a progressively loaded magazine provided with adjacently arranged holders. Once all the holders are loaded, the magazine is filled and in an end position. The magazine is then displaced to its starting position in a fast reverse run. A new carrier is conveyed in through the inlet slot thereby causing the temperature regulated carrier occupying the holder to be conveyed out through the outlet slot.

    • A material feed pipe for use in a belt-system continuous vacuum drier and oriented above a belt moving within a vacuum drying chamber. The feed pipe includes an inner tube having its one end provided with an inlet for material and the other end being closed. An outer tube has its two ends closed and encircling said inner tube with a radial space therebetween. A plurality of nozzle openings are provided in an upper part of the inner tube at a fixed pitch along the axial length thereof. The nozzle openings are so devised as to have a larger diameter in regular succession from the inlet end to the opposite end of the inner tube; and a plurality of further nozzle openings are provided in the lower part of the outer tube at a fixed pitch along the axial length thereof and have a fixed diameter.
