摘要： There is provided a hybrid turbine system comprising a plurality of flexible and thin film photovoltaic modules or panels attached to a plurality of blades of a vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT) for energy generation. Electrical performance of rotating photovoltaic modules or panels is enhanced since rotating photovoltaic modules are self-cooled by rotation of the blades of the wind turbine. It is experimentally shown that voltage of the photovoltaic modules decreases when the photovoltaic modules' temperature increases, and this decrease was modelled by four parameters namely ideality factor, reverse saturation current, short-circuit current, and material band gap. The present invention evidences that the proposed rotating photovoltaic modules increases the output voltage of the photovoltaic modules. Rotation of the photovoltaic modules as a part of the plurality of blades cools down and lowers the operating temperature of the photovoltaic modules and improves overall performance of the hybrid turbine system.

摘要： A bearing isolator and explosion-proof current diverting device may be configured to dissipate an electrical charge from a rotating piece of equipment to ground, such as from a motor shaft to a motor housing. One aspect of an explosion-proof current diverter ring may include a stator that may be mounted to the equipment housing and a rotor that may be mounted to a shaft. The rotor may rotate with the shaft. A conductive assembly may be positioned in a radial bore formed in the stator such that the conductive assembly contacts the rotor to conduct electricity from the shaft to the housing through the explosion-proof current diverting device. The explosion-proof current diverting device may be configured to define a flame path to achieve various explosion-proof certifications.

The rotor unit may rotate around an axis of rotation and have a rotor shaft and a first sliding surface. The connecting unit may include a carrier, a contact part, and a spring part. The carrier part may be made of an electrically conductive material and at least partially surround the rotor shaft and is firmly connected to the housing. The contact part may be made of an electrically conductive material, including a second sliding surface. The spring part may be made of an electrically conductive material, at least partially surrounding the rotor shaft. The spring part may be firmly connected to the carrier part and the contact part and press the contact part against the first sliding surface so the sliding surfaces form the electrically conductive sliding contact.

摘要： Connector inserts and connector receptacles that have a small form factor and where when a connector insert and connector receptacle are mated, the connector insert can rotate and articulate relative to an electronic device housing the connector receptacle. The bearing can further support a locking mechanism to lock the connector insert in place in the connector receptacle.

The nozzle member has a feeding tubular part at least partly inserted inside the shaft from the open end portion, and a flange portion protruding radially outward from the feeding tubular part. The current shunter is located radially inside the peripheral wall, and the flange portion is located between the current shunter and the bottom wall in an axial direction.
