162 Herbicide composition JP6583 1983-01-05 JPS59128311A 1984-07-24 KOBORI YASUO; YAMADA NORIMASA
PURPOSE: A herbicide composition that contains a combination of oxadiazon and bialaphos, thus developing sinergism to show excellent herbicidal effect on both soil and foliage treatment. CONSTITUTION: Oxadiazon: 5-tert.-butyl-3-(2,4-dichloro-5-isopropoxyphenyl)-1,3,4- oxadiazolin-2-one, which shows high herbicidal effect against a variety of pre- emergence weeds, but scarcely against post-emergence weeds, is combined with bialaphos: 2-amino-4-methylphosphanobutyryl-alanylalanine-1-sodium salt, which is solely used to effect foliage treatment, since it has no herbicidal effect on pre-emergence weeds by soil treatment at all, at a weight ratio of 1:16W4:1. Their combination accelerates the development of foliage treatment effect without fear of increased chemical injury. COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio

PURPOSE: A herbicide that contains a specific α-cyanoacrylic acid derivative or its functional salt as an active ingredient, thus showing very high herbicidal effect against a variety of weeds, especially by foliage treatment. CONSTITUTION: The objective herbicide contains a compound of the formula [X is H, hydrocarbon group of 10 or less carbon atoms (it can contain one or more atoms selected from S, N and O so as not to link to the carbon of the β- position directly); Y is H, alkyl metal atom, N + (R o) 4 (R o is H, hydrocarbon of 10 or less carbon atoms), hydrocarbon group of 10 or less carbon atoms (it can contain at least one selected from S, N and O atoms); R is OR 1, NR 2R 3 (R 1WR 3 are H, hydrocarbon of 10 or less carbon atoms as Y, R 2 and R 3 may incorporate to form a ring)] or its functional salt as an active ingredient. Since the above active ingredient is both water-soluble and oil-soluble, it shows excellent herbicidal effect in both foliage and soil treatments, however, it is more remarkable in the former.
