A novel and useful frameless supplemental window for fenestration incorporating infiltration blockers suitable for use with existing windows. The supplemental window, in one embodiment, comprises plastic sheet material with bullnose edging around it. Corner braces add rigidity and strength to corners in several embodiments. An attachment mechanism secured either to the sheet material or the bullnose edge functions to fasten and/or seal the supplemental window to an existing window. Infiltration blockers fastened to the sheet or bullnose prevent or minimize air leakage around various window elements. The bullnose edging and infiltration blockers function to substantially enclose (i.e. trap) a volume of air between the window pane and the plastic sheet material. The supplemental window is configured such that the layer of air enclosed is of an optimum thickness within a preferred range of 0.15 to 0.75 inches to maximize thermal insulation properties of the supplemental window.

The shells are sealed together after the nipple is seated in the sockets. The suction nipple is of a material having a higher thermal resistance than the shell material. The damper includes intermediate walls that together with the shells form four somewhat triangular chambers with a throttle opening from the first chamber to the second chamber, an elongated throttle passage from the second chamber to third chamber and a throttle opening from the third chamber to the fourth chamber. The suction nipple opens to the first chamber and each shell includes a part of an inlet that opens to the fourth chamber.

A syringe for powder injection comprises a syringe barrel(11) with a needle(2) mounted thereon, and a medication vial which is divided into an upper chamber(12) and a lower chamber(7). There a sealing means between the chambers and at the opening of the bottle. The nipple section(20) of the syringe barrel(2) is inserted into a clipping bore of the sealing means at the opening of the vial. The needle(11) of the syringe barrel(2) is mounted in the upper chamber(12) of the medication vial. A safety means is mounted between the syringe barrel(2) and the double-chamber, which prevents the relative movement of them. When the syringe is being used, as long the safety means between the syringe barrel(2) and the dual­chamber is broken, the syringe barrel(2) can be pushed to allow the needle(11) to be inserted into the lower chamber(7). As the pushing rod(1) of the syringe barrel(2) is pushed further, the solvent(14) is allowed to mixed with the powder(13). After the solution is uniform by shaking, injection can be performed with the needle being pulled out. Therefore, the syringe of the present invention has a simple structure and can be operated conveniently. Moreover, it will not cause recontamination, and it is safe and trustable to use.

The breast pump shield also can include a suction chamber located adjacent to the throat portion, and a cover located at the ring of the body portion. The cover can include a support layer and a lubricant layer. The cover can provide at least part of a hermetic seal for the breast pump shield prior to use.

This invention relates to an article of manufacture including a genital lubricant containing a selected non-irritating, water-soluble zinc salt at an anti-viral concentration, within a package that is provided with a label indicating that the lubricant is effective as an anti-viral agent against at least one type of sexually transmitted virus (such as genital herpes viruses, human immunodeficiency viruses, hepatitis viruses, or papilloma viruses). One such lubricant includes a lubricant gel in a plastic-walled tubular package, for use with or without a condom; another such lubricant includes a condom lubricant, coated on a condom and sealed along with the condom inside a disposable plastic pouch. The zinc salt must be water-soluble and have substantial dissociation rates to release divalent zinc ions, and the lubricant must not cause genital irritation or other adverse effects, even if used repeatedly over a period of months or years. The zinc-containing lubricants described herein can reduce the risk that a previously uninfected person will become infected by sexually transmitted viruses, and the labelling information will help promote efficacy and slow the spread of incurable viruses.

Rotation of the nozzle body changes the angle of the transverse bore and changes the direction of the stream of fluid emitted by the nozzle tip. The nozzle body can be rotated relative to the nut with a single tool without rotation of the nut. The transverse bore can be at right angles to the axial bore or can be at any other desired angle of inclination.

Устройство с наполнителем для укупоривания бутылки и обработки находящего в ней жидкого продукта содержит крышку (1), соединенную резьбовым соединением с фиксируемым на горлышке бутылки корпусом (2), наполнитель и воздухопроводящий узел. Kits and methods for the collection, storage and/or feeding of breast milk include at least one flexible open-ended liner, an outer rigid tubular bottle adapted to receive the liner, and a breast pump adapter adapted to be threadably coupled to the bottle at one end and to a breast pump at another end thereof so as to allow breast milk to be expressed directly into the liner. A rigid stand for dependently supporting a flaccid liner containing breast milk, and at least one cap for sealably closing the open end of the liner may also be provided. The breast milk-containing liner may thus be sealed by the cap and positioned in the rigid stand. The stand and capped liner may then be placed in a refrigerated environment (e.g., a refrigerator, freezer, cooler or the like) so that the breast milk may be stored and preserved for future use. Most preferably, the kits of the present invention, will also include a nipple cap for the bottle. The chilled or frozen breast milk in the flaccid liner may thus be warmed and placed in the rigid tubular bottle so that the liner is dependently supported thereby. The nipple cap may then be threadably coupled to the bottle to allow the breast milk contents in the liner to be fed to the nursing infant.

The valve block further includes a piston port threadably connected to cylinder and an outlet port that sealably receives a valve stem. The inlet port, the outlet port and the piston port are in fluid communication with one another upon removal of the valve stem from the valve block. The valve stem includes an intake passage and an output passage. The cylinder slidably receives a piston. Both the piston and valve stem are connected to separate actuators. The actuator connected to the valve stem moves the valve stem into one of either an intake position for withdrawing fluid into the cylinder or a dispense position for pumping fluid out of the cylinder and out the outlet of the valve stem. A disposable plastic piston pump is also disclosed. Further, a lever mechanism for quickly and easily releasing a flexible package from the nipple connected to the valve block of the disclosed piston pumps is also shown and described.
