PURPOSE:To improve the quality of printing and massproducting property by providing a means for filling the concave section of a sheet-shaped plate with a printing liquid and members adapted to remove an excess of the liquid from the surface of the plate overlapping each other at least in two directions prior to the transfer. CONSTITUTION:For example, an ink fills a fine concave section 2 of a sheet- shaped plate 1 forming a letter of A. Then, a first blade provided for an ink removing mechanism is moved in the direction of the arrow 3 in contact with the plate surface whereby ink is completely raked off a smooth surface 4 thereof. On the other hand, a second blade is moved in the direction of the arrow 6 preferably at the right angle of the arrow 3 over the plate surface to rake excess ink off. Even if there formed a line 5 by the first blade and a line 7 by the second blade, removal of ink from the two directions only leaves unwanted ink in a small area at the intersection 8 between the two lines, in no way affecting the quality of printing.

A moving table 15 includes a plate stage 17 and a printing-target stage 18. A linear guide rail 16 in the X-axis direction is mounted on the bottom face of the moving table. The linear guide rail in the X-axis direction is freely slidably mounted to the linear guide blocks 14 on the trestle 13. A transfer mechanism 19 including a blanket roll 10 is provided above the longitudinal intermediate part of the trestle 13. When executing print processing by bringing the blanket roll 10 into contact with a plate 11 on the plate stage 17 and a printing target 12 on the printing-target stage 18, respectively moved by traveling of the moving table 15, at required printing pressure, the relative position of a part where a load of the printing pressure acts on the moving table 15 and a load support point by each linear guide block 14 is maintained at a fixed level, thereby preventing changes both in deflection amount of the moving table 15 and in distortion amount of the linear guide blocks 14 to suppress displacement of the printing position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&amp;INPIT

SOLUTION: In an offset printing press equipped with a blanket cylinder 8, a printing table 4 to which a printing plate and a material to be printed are fixed, means 3, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 25 changing the relative relation between the blanket cylinder and the printing table so that the blanket cylinder and a printing table move relatively while hold a constant interval so that the blanket cylinder is rotated at the rotational speed corresponding to the moving speed of the blanket cylinder and the printing table, the blanket 10 attached to the blanket cylinder and receiving ink from the printing plate fixed on the printing table to transfer the same to the material to be printed fixed on the printing table and a printing pressure adjusting means adjusting the distance between the printing plate and material to be printed fixed on the printing table and the blanket cylinder to adjust printing pressure, position measuring means 26, 27 measuring the surface position of the blanket attached to the blanket cylinder are provided.
176 METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DIRECTLY PRINTING, MATERIAL TO BE PRINTED AND INK COMPOSITION JP34797798 1998-11-24 JP2000158786A 2000-06-13 MIDORIKAWA MASAKO; ISHIKAWA NOBUYUKI; YONEMOTO KAZUNARI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct printing technology which is low in cost and easy in handling, capable of dealing with various type printing requests. SOLUTION: In the case of conducting a direct print by applying a pressure to an intaglio and a material to be printed to bring the intaglio into close contact with the material and transferring an ink filled in the intaglio onto the material, the material having a receptive adsorption layer 3 for receiving and adsorbing the ink 4 by the close contact with the intaglio 1 is used. After the ink 4 is transferred to the material, the material is baked to thermally decompose the layer 3 of the material and to remove the layer 4, and hence a printing pattern is formed on a base plate 2 of the material.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove an ink solvent to be absorbed by the surface layer of a blanket. SOLUTION: In the offset printing method or the printing device, an ink solvent absorbed by the surface 15 of a blanket is removed from the outside of the surface 15 by vacuum suction. The method for removing the ink solvent by vacuum suction comprises removing the ink solvent through continuous air bubbles or continuous holes by removing air by vacuum from a vacuum evacuating flow path 11 communicating with the continuous air bubbles or continuous holes while a member 9 provided with a porous body with the continuous air bubbles or the continuous holes 10 uniformly distributed, is brought into contact with the surface of the blanket. Alternatively the method comprises removing the ink solvent using a solvent removing means equipped with a cover wrapping a part of the blanket fitted to a blanket cylinder, the vacuum evacuation flow path 11 opened inside the cover and a means to remove the air by vacuum from the vacuum evacuation flow path 11.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance ink utilizing efficiency by applying ink with a a pair of first doctor positioned opposite to each other, and scraping off a surplus ink with a second doctor blade to receive a pattern on an intaglio plate on a blanket and transfer-print the pattern on matter to be printed. SOLUTION: Ink supplied to an intaglio plate 1 is coated over the intaglio plate 1 by the first doctor blade 5 of paired doctor blades 5, 6 arranged opposite to each other on the intaglio plate 1. Next, a surplus ink is scrapped off by a second doctor blade 6. At the same time, the ink remaining in the recessed part of the intaglio plate 1 is received on a blanket 7 while a constant pressure is applied. Finally, a patterned ink received onto the blanket 7 is transferred and printed on matter to be printed. When repeating this sequence of steps, the ink is replenished by an amount used.
180 OFFSET PRINTING METHOD JP13698594 1994-06-20 JPH082137A 1996-01-09 ISOMI AKIRA; HATAKEYAMA AKIHITO
PURPOSE:To provide an offset printing method capable of continuously and stably performing accurate printing within a short repeating time. CONSTITUTION:The groove of an intaglio 3 is filled with ink 2 by a scraper 1. As the ink 2, one containing an org. solvent soluble in water or alcohol is used. A roll transfer member 4 having releasability is rotated while pressed to the intaglio 3 to transfer the ink 2 to the roll transfer member 4. The roll transfer member 4 having the ink 2 transferred thereto is rotated while pressed to a glass substrate 5 to re-transfer the same pattern as the intaglio 3 to the glass substrate. The roll transfer member 4 is immersed in the water or alcohol 7 stored in a container to wet the surface of the roll transfer member 4 with the water or alcohol 7 and the org. solvent in the ink 2 remaining on the surface of the roll transfer member 4 is removed. Thereafter, these processes are repeated.
