    • PURPOSE: To exploit frictional coupling, prevent slipping-locking effects, and promote control in a method for adjusting a travel and brake of vehicles having a plurality of individual wheel driving and braking modules which are relating to a control function of a wheel. CONSTITUTION: There is provided means for interconnecting individual wheel driving and braking modules with each other in pairs in view of adjustment and technology in a vehicle aspect, and for changing the degree of coupling. For this reason, the individual wheel driving and braking modules belonging to respective left-side and right-side wheels form the pair of the individual modules having respectively peculiar torque adjusting circuits a, b. An allowable torque target value Mzul is output via evaluation elements 4', 4 and a first minimum step 5. A minimum torque target value Msoll in common with the adjusting circuits a, b of the right-side and left-side modules is formed via a second minimum step 6. An additional torque target value ▵Msoll is formed in order to eliminate disturbance of a sideways force. It is possible to also carry out a slide adjustment instead of torque adjustment.
