    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hardly receive an influence of a noise due to a reflection of an ultrasonic wave from a mounting part when an element such as an ultrasonic element is mounted at a measuring part in a sensor which houses the element such as the ultrasonic element or the like. SOLUTION: A detecting element body 40 houses a piezoelectric element 51 in the housing part 43 of a case 42, and is mounted in a housing part 22 of a channel forming member 20. Thus, a route length from the element 51 to a mounting position of the body 40 becomes long, the ultrasonic wave leaked from the element 51 into the body 40 is reflected at a connecting part and is hardly returned. Accordingly, the influence of the noise or the like due to the reflected wave is reduced, and hence a detecting accuracy is improved. A clearance of 1 mm or more is provided averagely on an outer periphery of the part 43 of the body 40, and accordingly a problem of the residue of a foreign matter hardly occurs.
