A data storing apparatus embodying the method mentioned above is also disclosed. The data storing apparatus may further comprise a receiving circuit for receiving coded data output demanding data including a desired data rate and for supplying the desired data rate to the adding circuit. The adding circuit receives and uses the desired data rate as the fixed data rate.

Preferably, the image data is encoded according to the MPEG standard, and the recording of the image coded data is not stopped/started until an entire encoding block of a Group of Pictures (GOP) is received so that all information packets necessary to decode a complete frame are present before the recording is stopped/started.

A signal-type marker generating circuit generates a signal-type marker in response to the flag signal. Where the multiplexed signal is divided into packs of plural packets, the signal marker is included in an entry pack located immediately preceding a packet that includes the signal portion of the predetermined type. Where the multiplexed signal is divided into sectors and each sector includes a sector header, the signal marker is included as subcode in the sector header of a sector that includes the signal portion of a predetermined type.

A background image frame containing the background segments is created. At least some of the instance segments are classified into movable objects of interest and movable objects of non-interest. During a background update time period, the background image frame is updated when a movable object of non-interest has moved to reveal a background area, to include the revealed background area in the background image frame. A foreground image containing the movable objects of interest is created. Blocks of pixels of the updated background and foreground image frames are encoded. A stream of encoded foreground image frames having a first frame rate is produced. A stream of encoded updated background image frames a second, lower frame rate is produced.

摘要： Systems and methods for reducing latency through motion estimation and compensation techniques are disclosed. The systems and methods include a client device that uses transmitted lookup tables from a remote server to match user input to motion vectors, and tag and sum those motion vectors. When a remote server transmits encoded video frames to the client, the client decodes those video frames and applies the summed motion vectors to the decoded frames to estimate motion in those frames. In certain embodiments, the systems and methods generate motion vectors at a server based on predetermined criteria and transmit the generated motion vectors and one or more invalidators to a client, which caches those motion vectors and invalidators. The server instructs the client to receive input from a user, and use that input to match to cached motion vectors or invalidators. Based on that comparison, the client then applies the matched motion vectors or invalidators to effect motion compensation in a graphic interface. In other embodiments, the systems and methods cache repetitive motion vectors at a server, which transmits a previously generated motion vector library to a client. The client stores the motion vector library, and monitors for user input data. The server instructs the client to calculate a motion estimate from the input data and instructs the client to update the stored motion vector library based on the input data, so that the client applies the stored motion vector library to initiate motion in a graphic interface prior to receiving actual motion vector data from the server. In this manner, latency in video data streams is reduced.
