    • The invention relates to method, computer program code and signal processing/image display systems for displaying one or more images using holographic techniques. We describe a method of generating data for displaying an image defined by displayed image data using a plurality of holographically generated temporal subframes, the temporal subframes being displayed sequentially in time such that they are perceived as a single noise-reduced image. The method includes generating from the displayed image data holographic data for each subframe of said set of subframes such that successive replay of holograms defined by said holographic data for said subframes gives the appearance of said image, and wherein the method further includes, when generating said holographic data for a said subframe, compensating for noise in said displayed image arising from one or more previous subframes of said sequence of holographically generated subframes.

    • This invention relates to hardware acceleration of signal processing systems for displaying an image using holographic techniques. A hardware accelerator for a holographic image display system, the image display system being configured to generate a displayed image using a plurality of holographically generated temporal subframes, said temporal subframes being displayed sequentially in time such that they are perceived as a single reduced-noise image, each said subframe being generated holographically by modulation of a spatial light modulator with holographic data such that replay of a hologram defined by said holographic data defines a said subframe, the hardware accelerator comprising: an input buffer to store image data defining said displayed image; an output buffer to store holographic data for a said subframe; at least one hardware data processing module coupled to said input data buffer and to said output data buffer to process said image data to generate said holographic data for a said subframe; and a controller coupled to said at least one hardware data processing module to control said at least one data processing module to provide holographic data for a plurality of said subframes corresponding to image data for a single said displayed image to said output data buffer.

    • A method of distributed authorization of one or more client applications to one or more connected devices. The method comprises: receiving at a connected device, from a browser executing a client application, a client token and an access request. The client token has been provided to the client application by a process comprising generating one or more client tokens, one for each of one or more client applications (a client token defines permissions for a client application and a domain hosting the client application); signing the client tokens with a private key of a client token issuer, and distributing the client tokens to the client applications; verifying a signature of the client token using a public key of the client token issuer; determining whether the client token grants the client application permission for the access request and, if permission is granted: replying to the browser with a redirect response including an access token granting permission for the client application to access the connected device and identification of the domain hosting the client application from the client token; and executing the redirect response with the browser to make the access token available to the client application for use by the client application when requesting the connected device to perform a task.
