摘要： Some embodiments of the disclosure disclose a Three-Dimensional (3D) display device and method, wherein the device can include: a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) display, configured to display an image; a light path control structure including a multilayer pinhole type structure, configured to control emitting directions of light paths of the image to form 3D light field information, wherein multiple groups of pinhole arrays are arranged on each layer of the pinhole type structure; and a holographic function screen, configured to perform diffusion imaging on the 3D light field information to form a 3D image, wherein the LED display, the light path control structure and the holographic function screen are sequentially configured. According to some embodiments of the disclosure, the technical problems of the related art are solved.

摘要： In a three-dimensional video display apparatus, accommodation and convergence among physiological characteristics of eyes are abandoned, thereby resulting in generation of unnatural three-dimensional video. For example, even when eyes are moved, a screen is not changed, and a cardboard effect and/or a miniature garden effect may be caused, so that the eyes may be greatly fatigued. Light emission sources 1R, 1G, and 1I, holograms 3R, 3G, and 3I, and a transparent display component 4 are provided, and a plurality of reflectors 6 are formed in the display component 4 so as to be positioned at intersections in a space lattice. Lights 2R, 2G, and 2I emitted from the light emission sources 1R, 1G, and 1I are incident on the holograms 3R, 3G, and 3I, respectively, and a plurality of diffracted converging lights 5G, 5B, and 5I are generated through the holograms 3R, 3G, and 3I, respectively, and each focused on light focusing points near the plurality of reflectors 6, and the diffracted converging lights 5G, 5B, and 5I are each reflected by the plurality of reflectors 6, and emitted to the outside through an emission surface 7s of the display component 4.

The device includes holographic image projection optics comprising at least one coherent light source illuminating a spatial light modulator (SLM), output optics to project a hologram onto an acute angle surface, and a remote touch sensing system to remotely detect a touch of a location within or adjacent to the holographically displayed image. A control system is configured to provide data defining an image for display, to receive detected touch data, and to control the device responsive to remote detection of a touch of a the displayed image.

摘要： We describe a touch sensitive image display device for projecting a touch sensitive displayed image at an acute angle onto a surface on which the device is placed. The device comprises: light sources to project two-dimensional first and second light distributions in respective first and second planes; and a multi-pixel sensor system to remotely detect touch of an area of said surface within or adjacent to the displayed image by detecting light from the first distribution to provide a detected touch signal. The multi-pixel sensor system also remotely detects presence of an object within the second light distribution to provide a detected presence signal. The device is configured to multiplex projection of the first light and second distributions. A controller has an input to receive the detected touch and detected presence signals and is configured to control the device responsive to these signals.

The HUD can include a spatial light modulator (SLM) to display a hologram, an illumination system to illuminate said displayed hologram, projection optics to project light from said hologram onto said display surface to form said image, and a processor configured to process said image data to generate hologram data for display on the SLM to form said image. The HUD can further include a non-volatile data memory coupled to said processor to store wavefront correction data for said display surface, and the processor can be configured to apply a wavefront correction responsive to said stored wavefront correction data when generating the hologram data to correct the image for aberration due to a shape of said display surface.

In some examples, techniques are described for generating a holographic image of an object using a plurality of light sources, a shutter, and an image sensor array. Each of the light sources is configured to generate a light beam using a respective wavelength in a different range. In various examples, an apparatus as described here may be configured to control the shutter to receive the light beams from the plurality of light sources and selectively pass each of the received light beams to provide a selected light beam. The apparatus may further include a beam splitter and a mirror unit configured to generate an object light beam and a reference light beam from the selected light beam. The apparatus may include an image sensor array configured to detect an image of interference caused by the reference light beam and the object light beam.
