摘要： A bidirectional power switch includes first and second thyristors connected in antiparallel between first and second conduction terminals of the switch. The first thyristor is of an anode-gate thyristor, and the second thyristor is of a cathode-gate thyristor. The gates of the first and second thyristors are coupled to a same control terminal of the switch by respective dipole circuits. At least one of the dipole circuits is formed by at least one diode or at least one resistor.

The RF communications device may also include an RF transmitter carried by the circuit board and coupled to the transmission line, and RF switching circuits, each RF switching circuit including a substrate having a tapered proximal end coupled to the transmission line, and a distal end extending outwardly on the convex side of the transmission line. Each RF switching circuit may include a series diode, and a shunt diode coupled to the series diode, the series diode extending from the tapered proximal end and across an interior of the substrate.

摘要： A driver circuit for synchronous rectifier electronic switches, such as SR MOSFETs in resonant converters controls a pair of synchronous rectifier electronic switches to apply thereto a drive voltage to switch the synchronous rectifier electronic switches on and off synchronously with a converter current. The driver circuit includes a programming module to produce a first signal indicative of the figure of merit of the synchronous rectifier electronic switches, and, optionally, a current sensing module to produce a second signal indicative of the output current of the synchronous rectifier electronic switches. An output module is included to generate a value for the drive voltage which is a function of the first signal indicative of the figure of merit and, optionally, of the second signal indicative of the output current of the synchronous rectifier electronic switches.

摘要： A semiconductor switching device for switching high voltage and high current. The semiconductor switching device includes a control-triggered stage and one or more auto-triggered stages. The control-triggered stage includes a plurality of semiconductor switches, a breakover switch, a control switch, a turn-off circuit, and a capacitor. The control-triggered stage is connected in series to the one or more auto-triggered stages. Each auto-triggered stage includes a plurality of semiconductor switches connected in parallel, a breakover switch, and a capacitor. The control switch provides for selective turn-on of the control-triggered stage. When the control-triggered stage turns on, the capacitor of the control-triggered stage discharges into the gates of the plurality of semiconductor switches of the next highest stage to turn it on. Each auto-triggered stage turns on in a cascade fashion as the capacitor of the adjacent lower stage discharges or as the breakover switches of the auto-triggered stages turn on.
