摘要： It is a liquid crystal display device which can display simultaneously information which is different in the front and rear sides. It has a single liquid crystal panel, a lighting unit which is arranged at both-sides and comprised with the light source, and a control circuit which carries out drive controlling of these. This control circuit controls lighting on and off the light source of the lighting unit and controls a screen display of the liquid crystal panel, and realize the display which is different to both sides of the liquid crystal panel. Thereby, when the screen of the liquid crystal panel is simultaneously seen from both sides, an independent different image can be recognized visually.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device having two pieces of liquid crystal display panels commonly using a source driver is provided which is capable of displaying a different image in each of the two pieces of liquid crystal display panels. The liquid crystal display device includes the two liquid crystal display panels commonly using drain lines, a timing controller to control outputting timing of an image data signal for each liquid crystal display panel, a source driver to output image data, gate line by gate line, to a plurality of drain lines for each liquid crystal display panel, and gate drivers to sequentially output gate driving pulses to gate lines for each liquid crystal display panel according to a signal to provide instructions for a start of outputting of an image data signal and to a signal to control an inputting period of image data in every line. Image data making up the image data signal is output, in order of inputting of the image data, to corresponding drain lines connected to the liquid crystal display panels.

摘要： A data processing system including a processor LSI and a DRAM divided into banks, for increasing a ratio of using a fast operation mode for omitting transfer of a row address to the DRAM and for minimizing the amount of logics external to the processor LSI. The processor LSI includes row address registers for holding recent row addresses corresponding to the banks. The contents of the row address registers are compared with an accessed address by a comparator to check for each bank whether the fast operation mode is possible. As long as the row address does not change in each bank, the fast operation mode can be used, thus making it possible to speed up operations, for example in block copy processing.
