    • The present invention is directed to an electronic film viewer system comprising a cartridge holding section in which a film cartridge is detachably mounted with a processed film loaded therein, a film feed section for feeding a film or a rewinding it, an image inputting section for optically picking up an image from a frame in a frame position to obtain an image signal (image data), a multi-image creating section for storing each frame image data in a multi-image memory section in a way to be assigned to a corresponding one of portion images into which a display image screen is divided, and a switching section for effecting switching to a multi-image area or the image data directly from one frame of the film by an operation section and sending any one to an external display section. The multi-image memory section allows a display of the multi-image area with a storage capacity corresponding to one image area and desired image data can be retrieved and displayed.

    • This is a film image input system wherein an image of the developed still photo film is made to focus on an image sensing plane of a charge coupled device through a taking lens to be converted into electric signals and the electric signals are input in a video monitor. The film image input system comprises: a zoom driving part for changing the image magnification of the taking lens; a scan mechanism for moving an image taking positionon the film by the taking lens; and a control part for controlling the scan mechanism in such a manner that the moving speed of the scan mechanism is decreased with the increase in the image magnification of the taking lens and making the moving speed of a screen on the video monitor constant during scan. Furthermore, the control part can restrict the scan scope of the scan mechanism in accordance with the image magnification, satisfactorily display the scope being picked up at present on a display device, and return the scan position to the center of the film and return the image magnification to a predetermined standard magnification so that the film image in the whole frame can occupy the whole screen of the video monitor, upon receiving the standard reproduction command.

    • This invention shows a mounting for an image sensor in an optical path wherein the axis of the path is perpendicular to the surface of the image sensor so that every pixel on the image sensor is rigidly positioned with respect to the direction of the optical path but is free to undergo small dithering movement transverse to the direction of the optical path. The mounting comprises a platform (64) to which the image sensor is mounted, and at least three wire legs (84) having sufficient rigidity that they support the image sensor without stretching or buckling, each wire leg being attached to the platform at one end and attached to a base plate at the other end. The wire legs are disposed substantially parallel to the optical path so that the platform and the image sensor are movable transversely of the optical path upon the application of a transverse force to the platform without movement along the direction of the optical path.
