摘要： A lead and a nonaqueous electrolyte battery including the lead that is given a non-chromium surface treatment and have excellent resistance to hydrofluoric acid. The lead includes: (1) a metal lead made of nickel, nickel plated copper, or copper; (2) a composite coating layer that is formed on a portion of the surface of the metal lead that is hermetically attached to the package, the composite coating layer being formed by applying a treatment liquid that contains a salt of zirconium, a salt of titanium, or a salt of molybdenum and a resin component containing polyacrylic acid; and (3) an insulator that is arranged outside the composite coating layer and hermetically attached to the package. The nonaqueous electrolyte battery having the lead connected to positive or negative electrode of the nonaqueous electrolyte battery.

摘要： A power transmission apparatus is disclosed. A pulley is journalled through a ball bearing on the outer periphery of a bearing support portion arranged on a housing, and a metal ring is fitted on the inner periphery of the pulley. The outer ring of the ball bearing is press-fitted into the inner periphery of the metal ring, and a punch is forcibly pushed into a front-side end surface of the ring. In this way, punched holes each having a sectional area progressively increased from the rear to front side are formed, and the portions of the metal ring near to the inner periphery than the punched holes are pushed out and caulked. Thus, caulked portions are formed to fixedly caulk the outer ring.

摘要： This invention relates to an injection unit for an injection molding machine, which is free of inconvenience such as a reduction in ability and clogging of a powdery filler upon molding a powdery-filler-added resin, can prevent cutting of long fibers upon molding a long-fiber-filled resin, can also be applied to feed resins which give off evaporated gas, can be used for a wide variety of resins, and can be constructed with a substantially-reduced machine length. The injection unit is therefore constructed of a tank and an injection cylinder. The tank has a built-in mixing rod with numerous fins extending from the mixing rod, whereby a feed resin is plasticized by rotation of the mixing rod. The injection cylinder is connected with the tank and has a built-in injection plunger, whereby a molten resin fed from the tank is injected into a mold by the injection plunger. The injection unit according to this invention is useful especially upon a feed resin, such as a powdery-filler-added resin or a long-fiber-filled resin, for injecting the thus-fed resin into a mold.

摘要： A pressure sensitive adhesive film reducible in the adhesive force by the application thereto of ultraviolet light which comprises:(a) a base film permeable to ultraviolet light; and(b) a layer of a pressure sensitive adhesive formed on one side of the base film, the adhesive comprising:(i) at least one elastic polymer selected from the group consisting of a polymer mainly composed of an acrylic acid ester copolymer and a saturated copolyester mainly composed of dibasic carboxylic acids and dihydroxy alcohols;(ii) an ultraviolet light polymerizable acrylic acid ester having not less than two acryloyl or methacryloyl groups in the molecule and having a molecular weight of not more than about 1000, in amounts of about 15-200 parts by weight in relation to 100 parts by weight of the elastic polymer; and(iii) a photopolymerization initiator in amounts sufficent to induce the photopolymerization of the ultraviolet light polymerizable acrylic acid ester;The film is especially suitable for use as a dicing film in dicing a semiconductor wafer to dices in which the wafer is fixed on the film with a relatively large adhesive force and thereafter the film is irradiated by ultraviolet light from the other side thereof to substantially reduce the adhesive force of the film so that the dice is loosely adhered onto the film.

摘要： A basic cell type full search vector quantization coder has a plurality of basic cells and a minimum distortion output vector detector. In each basic cell a common K-dimensional input vector is divided by b into b sub-blocks and n output vectors are read one by one out of a set of N output vectors. The output vectors are also divided by b. Comparison is made K/b times between the components of the input and the output vectors to detect one of n output vectors positioned at the shortest distance from the input vector. The detctor compares the outputs supplied by the basic cells and detects one of the output vectors producing the minimum distortion, whose index signal being an output of the coder.

In macro observation, a biological change region is extracted from a macro image, a micro observation point corresponding to an extracted biological change region is registered, and an object for tracking is identified. In micro observation, it is judged from the micro image whether or not biological change has continued in the biological change region at the micro observation point, and the registered micro observation point is updated on the basis of this judgment result. It is possible to carry out both macro observation for detecting a biological change region and micro observation for observing the progress of growth of a partial minute region where biological change has been exhibited, and to carry out accurate observation of a biological specimen.
