    • An IC for controlling a power supply circuit for delivering power to a fluorescent lamp in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes a ballast control section operable to provide drive signals to the power supply circuit and an amplifier section integrated into the IC and operable to provide a dimming signal to the ballast control section. The ballast control section drives the power supply circuit to provide for dimming of the lamp based on the dimming signal. An IC for controlling a power supply circuit for delivering power to a fluorescent lamp in accordance with another embodiment of the present application includes a ballast control section operable to provide drive signals to the power supply circuit; and an amplifier section integrated into the IC. The ballast control section provides the drive signals to the power supply circuit, receives current sense signals indicative of current in said lamp, and responds to the current sense signals by modifying the drive signals.

    • A three-way dimming CFL ballast operates at a single high bus voltage while varying switching frequency to control lamp current. The ballast accepts three different light level input switch command positions and an off position to provide three different light output levels. A closed loop current feedback control maintains a precise switching frequency for the ballast to produce accurate light output levels based on the light output switch selection. A reference value is provided to the feedback loop based on the selected light output level to drive the switching frequency at the appropriate value. The ballast circuit provides a sufficient CFL control for three-way dimming as adapted to be used with a standard Edison screw base.

    • System and methods for audio editing are provided. In one implementation, a computer-implemented method is provided. The computer-implemented method includes presenting a visual representation of digital audio data as a frequency spectrum including a first visual region corresponding to a first time period and a first frequency range in the digital audio data. A first user input identifies a second visual region within the first visual region and corresponding to a second time period and a second frequency range. A second user input specifies one or more frequency modifications to the second visual region. The second time period and the second frequency range corresponding to the second visual region are modified creating a modified second visual region. The modified second visual region is mixed into the first visual region creating edited digital audio data.

    • Methods, systems, and computer program products for selection of visually displayed audio data are provided. In one implementation, a computer-implemented method is provided. Original audio data is displayed in a plurality of visual forms. A first input is received selecting a region within a first visual representation of the original audio data. A second input is received selecting a region within a second visual representation of the original audio data. Audio components from the selected regions are isolated to provide isolated audio data. The isolated audio data corresponds to audio data common to both user selected regions. The isolated audio data is edited and then missed into the original audio data.

    • An electronic ballast for driving a high intensity discharge (HID) lamp is provided. The electronic ballast includes a voltage boost stage for receiving a DC input voltage and outputting a boosted DC output voltage with a controlled current. It further includes a switching stage for converting the boosted DC output voltage to a switched AC voltage capable of driving the HID lamp. An integrated circuit (IC) is coupled to the voltage boost stage and the switching stage for controlling both. The IC includes a lamp power control circuit comprising a sensing circuit for sensing an output current from the switching stage and the boosted DC output voltage, a current control loop which controls the lamp power if the lamp current is at a maximum level and a power control loop which controls the lamp power if the lamp current is below a maximum level. The IC also includes a controller unit interface and provides an ignition mode and a regular operation mode.
