    • A method for producing a solid-state imaging device includes steps of: forming transfer electrodes on a substrate having a plurality of light-sensing portions through a gate insulating layer so that the light-sensing portions are exposed; forming a planarized insulating layer on the substrate to cover the transfer electrodes formed on the substrate; forming openings in the planarized insulating layer so that each of the transfer electrodes is partly exposed out of the planarized insulating layer at a predetermined position; forming a wiring material layer so that the openings are filled with the wiring material layer; forming a resist layer on the wiring material layer; exposing and developing the resist layer so that only the resist layer in a predetermined area covering the openings is left; and patterning the wiring material layer using the exposed and developed resist layer to form connection wirings connected to the transfer electrodes by the openings.

    • A granulated product of potassium sorbate (i) has an overall pore volume of 0.3 ml/g or less, (ii) has an Na content of 450 ppm or less, or (iii) has an overall pore volume of 0.4 ml/g or less, or a granule hardness of 15% or less, and an Na content of 1000 ppm or less. The granulated product is obtained, for example, (i) by granulating a potassium sorbate aqueous solution through fluidized bed granulation drying, (ii) by neutralizing sorbic acid with a potassium sorbate having a molar ratio of Na to K (Na/K) of 0.0024 or less to yield potassium sorbate, and granulating the potassium sorbate, or (iii) by neutralizing sorbic acid with a potassium sorbate having a molar ratio of Na to K (Na/K) of 0.006 or less to yield potassium sorbate, and moisture-conditioning 100 parts by weight of the potassium sorbate with 1 to 8.5 parts by weight of water and 1 to 8 parts by weight of a water-soluble organic solvent and subjecting the resulting mixture to extrusion granulation. The granulated product of potassium sorbate has a highly stable hue over time.

    • A rotating electrical machine is provided in which, even when torque from a water turbine is reduced and reverse torque is applied due to load cut off, a rotor core is not eccentric to spider arms. The rotor of a rotating machine includes a vertical rotating shaft, spider arms extending radially from the vertical rotating shaft, and a rotor core component provided to the outer circumference of the spider arms. A T key and cotters are inserted into and secured to a key way provided to an abutment surface of the inner circumference of the rotor core component and the top end of the spider arm. A plate spring is mounted to a surface of the spider arm, the surface facing a rotational direction for electrical generation. The plate spring has one side engaging the spider arm, the other side engaging the rotor core component, and a middle portion bolted from an opposite surface of the spider arm.
