    • A fluid pump includes a housing body mounted to a mounting plate in a liquid-tight manner, a pump shaft having a journal portion rotatably supported on the mounting plate and a cylindrical cam portion integrally formed with one end of the journal portion located in the housing body, an impeller mounted on the other end of the pump shaft immersed in hydraulic fluid at a backside of the mounting plate, a drive shaft rotatably mounted within the housing body to be applied with a drive torque and positioned coaxially with the journal portion of the pump shaft, the drive shaft being formed with an eccentric bore the center axis of which is radially displaced from the center axis of the journal portion, a carrier having a cylindrical cap portion rotatably coupled with the cylindrical cam portion of the pump shaft and a shaft portion integrally formed with the cylindrical cap portion coaxially therewith and rotatably coupled within the eccentric bore of the drive shaft, and a diaphragm of elastic material coupled at one end thereof with the cylindrical cap portion of the carrier and fixed at the other end thereof to an internal surface of the mounting plate in a liquid-tight manner to seal the journal portion and cylindrical cam portion of the pump shaft located in the housing body.

    • A fuel cell power generation system has a condensing heat exchanger with a decarbonation device for removing carbon dioxide dissolved in condensed water including an inclined plate which has an upper side with an upper surface and a lower side with a lower surface. The inclined plate is made of a porous material, and is configured so that, by circulating air for decarbonation from the lower side toward the upper side of the inclined plate and simultaneously flowing the condensed water down from the upper side toward the lower side of the inclined plate, the condensed water comes into contact with the air for decarbonation on both the upper and lower surfaces of the inclined plate while flowing down along the inclined plate.

    • A wireless communication system containing at least one transmission apparatus and at least one communication terminal. The transmission apparatus transmits a wireless signal representing a bit sequence containing at least a predetermined number of bit errors, to the communication terminal. The communication terminal receives the wireless signal to regenerate the bit sequence. The communication terminal then examines the bit sequence represented by a received wireless signal to determine whether or not the number of bit errors contained in the bit sequence is equal to or greater than a predetermined number. When it is determined that at least the predetermined number of bit errors are contained in the bit sequence represented by a received wireless signal, the operation of the communication terminal is made inactive. Further, the transmission apparatus may transmit a wireless signal representing a bit sequence containing no pattern coinciding with a predetermined frame synchronization pattern, to the communication terminal. The communication terminal receives the wireless signal to regenerate the bit sequence. The communication terminal then examines the bit sequence represented by a received wireless signal to determine whether or not the bit sequence contains the predetermined frame synchronization pattern. When it is determined that the bit sequence does not contain the predetermined frame synchronization pattern, the operation of the communication terminal is made inactive.
