    • A vacuum valve includes a fixed side electrode on a fixed side current-carrying shaft and a movable side electrode on a movable side current-carrying shaft. An opening and closing unit is coaxially disposed with the movable side current-carrying shaft, and drives the movable side current-carrying shaft. A chattering suppression structure is coaxially disposed with the fixed side current-carrying shaft on the fixed side of the vacuum valve, and suppresses chattering. The opening and closing unit includes an electromagnetic operating mechanism which drives the movable side current-carrying shaft when energized. A contact pressure spring is coaxially disposed with the electromagnetic operating mechanism, and applies contact pressure between the movable side electrode and the fixed side electrode during contact closing of the vacuum valve. A release spring is coaxially disposed with the electromagnetic operating mechanism, and assists driving force of the electromagnetic operating mechanism during contact opening of the vacuum valve.

    • Provided is a vacuum circuit breaker whose insulation cylinder contained in a gas-insulated-switchgear housing contains a vacuum valve and which can be downsized while the cylinder's required mechanical strength is retained, and a gas-insulated switchgear using the same is also provided. The vacuum circuit breaker includes a plurality of insulation cases that are arranged parallel to each other in a container filled with an insulating gas, and each of the plurality of insulation cases includes a first insulation frame in which a section orthogonal to its longitudinal direction is in a substantial square-bracket shape, a second insulation frame in which a section orthogonal to its longitudinal direction is in a substantial square-bracket shape and which is arranged with a gap from the first insulation frame in a manner that open sides of the substantially square-bracket shaped frames oppose to each other, and a vacuum valve that contains attachable and detachable electrodes and is housed in each of the plurality of insulation cases.

    • In a switch device in which the main circuit contact sections of the switch device, an insulating rod, a driving rod, a contact pressure spring, an open spring, and an electromagnet are all coaxially arranged, a problem exists in that the axial dimension of the switch device becomes large. The present invention has been made to solve the aforementioned problem. An object is to obtain an electromagnet device and a switch device using the electromagnet device, in which shortening the axial dimension of the switch device is achieved by arranging the main circuit contact sections of the switch device, the insulating rod, the driving rod, the contact pressure spring, the open spring, and a part of the electromagnet in the same axial range. Particularly, the open spring and the electromagnet are arranged in the same axial region.

    • A switching contact, an electromagnetically operated electromagnet for driving the switching contact, and a drive power source device for driving the electromagnetically operated electromagnet.
